Anxiety disorders affect more than forty million adults in the United States. That is almost 20% of the population. This is so mind blowing to me. Yes I deal with anxiety disorder on the daily, so I too am part of this statistics. It is still mind blowing . That means if you were with 9 people at least two of them are dealing with social anxiety, depression, anxiety, or related illness. May is Mental Health month so I thought these facts would be beneficial in hopefully helping others know they are not alone. We are all worthy of love and respect.
