14 years married and a few days away reminded me how much I still really, really like this man. 🥹💖
We slowed down. We laughed. We rested. We had the kind of deep heart conversations that are hard to squeeze into normal life and got to just enjoy being us.
And then our getaway ended with the BEST spontaneous surprise… our favorite little human showing up. 😭😂
Time together is never wasted. These are the days. These are the memories. And I want to savor every bit of them. 🩵

14 years in and I’m more convinced than ever: your marriage deserves more than your leftovers. 💖
Life gets FULL. Kids. Ministry. Work. Dreams. Responsibilities. And without even realizing it, the person you chose can start getting whatever is left at the end of the day.
These few days away reminded me how important it is to slow down and just be us again. To laugh. Talk. Hold hands. Eat good food. Stay up too late. Remember why we like each other so dang much. 😂
You don’t have to wait until something is wrong to prioritize your marriage.
Connection is worth protecting before you feel disconnected.
Choose each other. Again and again. 🥹💖

Through the hard into the beautiful. Justin, you have remained faithful and steadfast and constant and healed parts of my heart that I never knew I needed healed.
Thank you for loving me. Thank you for being patient with my process. Thank you for showing me the face of Jesus day in and day out. I love you so much. I’m forever grateful to call you mine.
