This is something I wrote completely from the heart — a little update, a goodbye to a chapter of my life, and words that honestly mean more to me than I can explain.

I never thought this post would be so hard to write. 🤍

After a lot of tears, prayers, and conversations with myself, I’ve decided to close Beauty & The Bath.

What started as “just a little business” became one of the biggest chapters of my life. This business changed me as a person. It taught me confidence when I doubted myself, patience when things got hard, and strength during seasons where I felt completely overwhelmed. I learned how to create, market, fail, try again, communicate better, believe in myself, and keep showing up even on the hard days.

Owning a small business — especially one where you are the maker, packer, cleaner, social media manager, customer service, inventory, shipping department, and everything in between is not for the weak. It requires your heart to be in it 24/7. And while I poured everything I had into it, my girls are getting older, life is getting busier, and I know deep down they need more of me in this season.

But more than anything, this journey taught me how important it is to support small and local businesses.

When you shop small, you are supporting someone’s dream. You are supporting late nights, family sacrifices, passion, stress, growth, and real people behind the scenes trying their best every single day. A share, a comment, a review, a recommendation, or a purchase means more than most people will ever realize. I understand that now in a way I never could before.

The relationships and connections I made through this business are something I could never replace. Through this journey, I gained so much more than customers. I gained genuine relationships, support, and people who truly changed my life. So many of you became such an important part of my journey, and I will always be grateful for the love and support you gave me.This is something I will carry with me long after this chapter closes.

Honestly, one of the hardest parts about closing this chapter is knowing I won’t be setting up at events beside my vendor family anymore. I won’t get the early mornings, the late-night prep, the booth setups, the laughs, the chaos, or the conversations that somehow always turned into therapy sessions. That part hurts more than I can explain. If I’m being honest, there’s a part of me that feels like I’m disappointing people by walking away. That’s probably been the hardest thing for me to swallow. But I also know that sometimes choosing your family, your peace, and the season of life you’re in is the right decision even when it breaks your heart a little.

Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your lives. Thank you for sharing your excitement over our products, sending me messages about your favorites, posting photos, and telling others about my business. I cannot explain the feeling of seeing products I made with my own hands sitting in your homes, your bathrooms, your stores, and on your counters. That feeling never got old.

This business gave me more than sales or products ever could. It gave me growth. It gave me purpose during hard seasons. It gave me community. And it gave me memories I will carry forever.

Closing this chapter is heartbreaking, but I’m also proud. Proud of what I built. Proud that I took the chance. Proud that people believed in me enough to support something I created from the ground up.

From the bottom of my heart… thank you for every order, every kind word, every share, every review, every recommendation, and every ounce of support you gave me over the years.

Beauty and the Bath will always hold a special place in my heart. 🤍
