1. If you put a silk scarf over your leave-out when you shower , workout or sleep it’ll help keep your leave out flat and intact and help eliminate heat damage. Add a bonnet on top of the silk scarf for bedtime.
2. If you put very small amount of beeswax over your leave-out when styling it , it’s equivalent to a wax stick and cheaper. It helps with humidity/frizz. Be careful because too much can cause it to be oily !
3. For next day curls with body , you don’t need a million flexi rods. Split your QW into a top and bottom section and add 2-3 flexi rods in each section.
4. Try the curled/ hair spray method for baby hair. It has a more natural finish but it also has less product build up than edge control/gels. I like to use yellow can to keep it intact.
5. Invest in a dry shampoo for your leave out (eliminates oils/build up temporarily) and a hair perfume to eliminate odors from everyday living/ hot tools.
