We didn’t disappear.

We got quiet because we were working through something that mattered.

Over the past several months, we’ve been reformulating, retesting, second-guessing, adjusting, and starting over more times than we expected. Not because we wanted to make things complicated, but because we knew the products needed to feel more like Pure Roots Skincare Company — more intentional, more refined, and more honest to the way we believe skincare and body care should live on the skin.

At some point, we had to ask ourselves some harder questions.

Does this feel good enough to use every day?
Does the texture make sense?
Does it glide the way we want it to?
Does it leave the skin feeling comfortable, or are we just telling ourselves it does?
Is the scent too soft, too much, or just right?
Is the finish truly wearable?
Would we feel proud putting this in someone’s hands?

Those questions slowed us down. Honestly, they needed to.

We’ve learned a lot about the difference between a formula that looks good on paper and a product that actually feels beautiful in real life. We’ve learned that more ingredients do not always mean a better experience. We’ve learned that texture, balance, finish, and real-world use matter just as much as the story behind the botanicals.

And now, we finally feel ready to place two formulas into real testing.

For this first round, we are keeping testing local to Havasu.

We are looking for serious local testers only.

Not people who just want a free product. Not people who will use it once and say, “I liked it.” We need people who are willing to pay attention and tell us the truth.

The good, the bad, the awkward, the detailed, the slightly uncomfortable feedback — we want all of it.

Tell us how it feels. Tell us what you noticed. Tell us what worked. Tell us what did not. Tell us if the glide felt right, if the finish felt too heavy, if the hair bar felt too soft, if the scent faded, if your hair felt clean but not quite soft enough, or if something surprised you in the best way.

We are not testing these products because we think they are perfect.

We are testing them because we believe they are close enough to deserve real feedback from real people before we bring them forward fully.

Pure Roots Skincare Company is still here. We’ve just been rebuilding carefully, quietly, and with a lot more intention than before.
