3 Reasons Your Bikini Area May Look Darker

“Your bikini area isn’t necessarily dark because you aren’t clean.”

1 — Friction

Inner thighs rubbing together + tight clothing can contribute to irritation and discoloration.

2 — Hair removal

Repeated shaving, waxing or ingrown hairs can cause inflammation that leaves marks.

3 — Irritation

Too much scrubbing, harsh products or using active ingredients incorrectly can irritate the skin.

“Stop attacking your skin. Start caring for it.”

has a plan created JUST FOR YOU💗

“Save this for your next self-care day.”

💭 What Your Skin Looks Like RIGHT After a Brazilian Wax

🚨Wax Wednesday reminder: Your skin immediately after a Brazilian wax may look different than it will once it calms down. ✨

A little redness or temporary follicular irritation can happen after hair removal.

Your job after your appointment? LET. YOUR. SKIN. REST.

No picking. No unnecessary touching. No excessive heat or friction.

And if something looks unusual, painful, or continues to worsen, always check with a healthcare professional.

💭 “How long should your hair be before a wax?”

“If your hair is too short, I may not be able to wax it!

✨ Pro tip: If you’re unsure whether your hair is long enough, send me a message before your appointment. I’d rather help you prepare than have you make a trip for a wax that can’t be completed.

Have you ever shown up for a wax only to find out your hair was too short? Tell me about it in the comments! 👇
