Week 34 Weekly Self Reflection: God's Goodness!
The Goodness of God is not determined by our circumstances; it is who he is. Our emotions will betray us having us up down depending on what's going on in our lives. But at the same time you can hear or perceive the Holy Spirit guiding you through those difficult moments saying you got this; you don't have to react; this feeling will pass and it does and I pass the pop quiz. I guess - that's why they call it: in the heat of the moment. I believe those moments are design for our growth when conducted by the Holy Spirit. Jesus is touched by our infirmities [ Hebrews 4:15].
I believe the Holy Spirit helps us to see the glory of God through these emotional storms. His strength is made perfect in our weakness[2 Corinthians 12:9]. Just maybe what the Lord is about to do in our lives; he's getting us ready, and we will know it is God and not us that has done this marvelous thing. Like in the case of Paul in this text: we want think more highly of ourselves than we ought to; for it is the Goodness of God towards his children and creation.
The song: The Goodness of God song by Cece really ministered to me this week particularly the second verse. And I sung it over and over again and this morning the Holy Spirit help me to see even the more God's is good and worthy of praise in all places of his dominion [Psalm 103:22]. Give thanks in all things [ 1 Thessalonians 5:18]. You see the word is what the Holy Spirit be fulfilling in our lives! God Bless!

Week 33: Weekly Self Reflection: Its Takes More!
As I was driving my bus thinking on fasting and not really thinking it mattered to fast even though I was instructed to concerning a situation. As I thought about what to eat. I heard the scripture: man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God [Matthew 4:4]. With that word came the power to fast; I felt the shift. And accomplished that day of fasting. You see fasting is God's way; not man’s. In Matthew 4 Jesus had just finished a 40 day fast. So it safe to say fasting is from the mouth of God as far as man not leaving by bread alone. But by every word that comes from the mouth of God. You see how God is with us and even though I didn't say it out of my mouth; God ( our Father) was very aware of my thoughts. And corrected me. Food can only take us so far, but every word that comes from our Father's mouth will take us where food can't. If your facing something that seems impossible try eating the word of God(fasting) instead of bread (food).
Week 32 Self Reflection: Be Discerning, but Discern Your Thoughts!
What does it mean if someone is discerning?
To be discerning is to be able to tell things apart—to separate them, even when they appear to be very similar. People who are discerning are able to make keen observations about things [Merriam-Webster ].
The Holy Spirit spoke to me Amy Satan is the god of this world [2 Corinthians 4:4].Thoughts you think are yours is really coming from him. But not discerning that, you sit on those thoughts until your mood changes because wrong thought produces a shift like right thoughts, so being able to discern them and it's origin is vital. If you don't believe me look around and you will see good thoughts results and evil (wrong thoughts results). It is important that we be attentive (discerning) of our thoughts and cast down every imagination and high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. Taking captive every thought to the obedience of Christ
[2 Corinthians 10:5].
Let's look in our own lives and see results of good thoughts verses bad thoughts. And I repented and started being more discerning. Thank you Holy Spirit for awaking me where I was asleep and missing what I needed to catch with my thoughts. You all Satan be doing suggestive thoughts to get is off track and left unattended will have us on a path of destruction. Be aware!
Week 31-Weekly Self Reflection: Peace that Surpass all Understanding
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [Philippians 4:7]. The more I live by the word the more I experience peace. Not that every situation is good, but God is good in every situation and that is the focus of my praise that, leads me to peace that surpass all understanding.
Every difficult place I've had to walk through the Lord was present with me and He brought me through with his mighty arm. I've learned even the more the lesson the Lord was teaching me many years ago: Amy how will you know me unless you go through and I deliver you.
As I study the word of God I see that the believers in the Bible walk through situations too and He delivered them. So knowing God's way of doing things causes you to experience rest because you trust Him; you learn He does what He says.
Many are the affliction of the righteous, but God he delivers us out of them all [Psalms 34:19]. So be encouraged that if your walking through a difficult place right now, know that our Father is about to reveal himself to you, so let's not become weary in our process to quit, but endure to the end. Amen!

Week 31:Weekly Self Reflection: Its More this Way!
Trust in the Lord with all heart and lend not to your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths [ Proverbs 3:5-6].
It is more better this way than any way; you could ever experience on your own. One morning while driving the bus I notice I felt, so good that it was not natural, but that our Father had indeed touched me, by the demonstrating power of his word and the Holy Spirit encourage me to go with the way. Why wouldn't I want to experience this kind of peace and joy and contentment and goodness every day. So I declared I trust you Lord with everything ( concerning me). It was this day I realize again the power of worship. Keep that song going in your heart that the Lord wake you up with. Don't allow the troubles of the day to steal it! Keep it stir up! My whole day was blessed because of the message of the song, that the Lord awaken me with, that day.
The next day was the same but I didn't keep it stirred up and I had a high and low day emotionally; until I stirred the song up in me that the Lord awaken me with.
The next day I fought harder to keep my song going and I had a great day. You see the song the Lord awake us with is a praise due His name. And the wonderful blessing that rest on the one giving it. You see we're in this world, but we're not of it [John 17:16]. Let us strive to live in our new life; in Christ Jesus. Please share your experience this week!

Week 30 Weekly Self Reflection: The Plan of God: [Jermaiah 29:11].
The safest place to be is in the will of God. Not only do the Lord offer protection in His will, but every thing He has for us is found there. No matter what we may be walking through right now we must trust in the Lord with all our heart and lend not to our own understanding in all our ways acknowledge Him and He will direct our paths[Proverbs 3:5-6].
The Holy Spirit brought back to my remembrance that Father God wanted to enlarge me. And my instructions was to pray. I started off good and fell off, (and on a day I was struggling) the Holy Spirit reminded me of the plan the Father wants to fulfill in my life. I came back in agreement and began to pray the prayer of Enlargement by John Eckhardt in the book entitled:Prayers that Rout Demons.
I began to notice I had( a new wind) to plan and prepare meals for me and my husband. To look well into the good of our home[ Proverbs 31]. I could tell something else was happening because this was different. And the Holy Spirit let me know that this was due to the prayer of Enlargement. Wow!
You see why we can't lend to our own understanding. The Enlargement gave me strength to be better. And an understanding of budgeting that will help our household - Enlargement!
Originally at hearing the Lord wanted to enlarge me I thought He was getting ready to give me money, but he gave me so much more; He gave me new wind and understanding of budgeting that will ultimately help us to see the money we can save, which will help our household. He gave me a seed to water and watch it become just what our household needs. And we grow through the process. The way of the Lord is prefect [Psalm 18:30]. Trust the plan of God!

Week 29: Self Reflection: The Wise Win Souls!
The seeds of good deeds become a tree of life; a wise person wins friends. ... The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and whoever captures souls is wise [ Provebs 11:30]. What an empowering week I had. To you who heard my broadcast I done about changing jobs; I didn't; I returned to bus driving. I'm so glad I did: because out of all the years of seeking the Lord about being wise to win souls I had an experience this week that helped me to understand that it comes through humidity. I don't think I am able to go in great details, but the just of the situation is I won those kids by widsom. I apologize for something that was out of my control and theirs and even when their behavior toward me demanded a write up; I followed the lead.of the Holy Spirit to apologize and talk with the guys to assure them we had resolved the issue.
And that is when I understood: Proverbs 11:30. I won the guys through apologizing (which is humidity). This experience has definitely pushed me to greater maturity in the Lord. Thank you Father; I needed that! You alone know the plans you think towards me...[ Jermaiah 29:11].
Weekly Self Reflection: Week 28 God's Word is Powerful
What a bless week it has been applying the word of God to each situation and seeing the difference in the outcome.
I been meditating on 2 Peter 1:5-8 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love: if these things be in you and abound you shall not be unfruitful or barren in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The challenges came and I met them being full of the Holy Spirit and the word. Which we have to do. If we're not full of the Holy Spirit then we are full of our selfish desires. I fought the good fight of faith to handle things by the word. I'm learning challenges that comes give the believers the opportunity to apply the word. And if we are diligent and intentional with God's word ( strive to) apply it to our lives it will become 2nd nature. We have to fight because our fleshly nature wants to be in control. We have to do like Apostle Paul: beat this flesh in subjection...
Studying the word and praying get me through and doing this (we know) is a discipline. I just say to my self you want to have power to face things or no power facing things. And that motivate me to prayer and the word. We look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith [ Hebrews]. He is our pattern to follow. In 2 Peter it says God has given us everything that pertains to life and godliness ( He has given us everything we need to live a godly life) and I accept that.
As Jesus told us we are not comfortless; He sent the Holy Spirit to us.

Week 27 Weekly Self Reflection: Just Believe!
Whether it is easier to say have faith in God or believe his word as the body of Christ; my encouragement to us is to simply believe. I love this passage of scriptures in St. John 20 surrounding the resurrection of Christ. The ladies went to the tomb for Jesus body and found it wasn't were it was laid ( because he had risen like he said). So they ran back to tell Peter and the other disciple. So they ran to see what the ladies had explain to them; to see for their self. Peter and the other disciple ran, but the disciple out ran Peter and saw from the entrance that the ladies spoke the truth, but he didn't go in. Peter went in and look around and saw what the ladies said to be true as well. But the text said the other disciple came in and look at how things were and believe. See the evidence of Christ had risen was in the items left behind that was once on his body. And it was purposed to spark belief. What is it in this season that God our Father is using to spark our belief in the evidence left behind: the word, miracles and countless testimonies from others who has an enconter with Him. Can it be said we examine the evidence and believe. Shall Jesus find faith on the earth when He return? Based on the evidence left behind (yes).
Week 25 Self Reflection: Lasting Fruit [ John 15]
I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes[a] so that it will be even more fruitful.
I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. This is my command: Love each other.
Staying intimate with our Heavenly Father is how we bear fruit. The fruit of love, joy, peace and kindness you know the attributes of our Father by the Holy Spirit and made possible by the way- Christ Jesus.
When there is no disconnect from the vine and gardener we bear fruit and as we continue in relationship He prunes us and we bear more fruit and the fruit will remains (last) as long as we stay connected.
In the midst of life happening: difficulties, hardships and things that try our very souls. It is a blessing to know ( no matter what) our fruit can remain. Because we don't produce on our own. Praise the Lord! What a blessing!

Week 24 Self Reflection: Have Presumptuous Faith
presumptuous (of a person or their behavior) failing to observe the limits of what is premited or appropriate.
Don't you dare give up or feel sorry for yourself or think that God has forgotten your labor of love. Don't you dare stagger at the promises of God our Father. He has been to good to doubt Him now. Trust the process He has you in. Pray His word for your situation. Pray earnestly til He answers, and then accept His will. If you ask our Father to lead you to where you need to be and out of your control you are where you are; maybe that's your answer.
I encourage you as Jesus did with Martha and Mary in St. John 11. If you believe you shall see my glory. And Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. He is the resurrection and the life. What do you need raised? It is possible in Jesus. Is there anything to hard for God? No! Be Presumptuous with your measure of faith. Don't quit now, see your process to your next.
