Got burnt to a crisp recently (the second pic doesn’t even do it justice) 🔥 but you would never know now!

I covered myself in my homemade Healing Balm and some fresh aloe straight from the plant twice a day and had no peeling, minimal pain, and it turned to tan within days. That’s what pale girl dreams are made of.

I’m usually really good about applying my sunscreen, but s**t happens. I’m just glad that I know exactly what to do if it happens again.

There are some Healing Balms available in the shop, ready to ship! frankierue.com

Fun fact: the Emerald Sea Bath Salt blend is made with spirulina instead of a dye of any kind, so you get this pretty color without it staining your tub 🙂

It’s available as part of the Balth Salt Bundle in the shop!

(I used a lot in my bath today, so the color won’t be quite as deep with just one tube)

I’m working on getting my website done very very soon, but I thought I would update y’all on what’s new outside of Frankie Rue.

Last week I started working at Realm & Reason in downtown Lancaster! It’s a cute little shop/art gallery that has the nicest owners ever, and such cute clothing and gifts for sale inside. I mean, look how cute!

I’ll be there every Wednesday and Thursday from 11-6, so stop in and say hey 👋🏼 and yes I’m still at On Orange on the weekends ☺️

✨I often get asked when I will release a “men’s scent”, so let this be a reminder that my products are not gendered. ✨

Need some support with sleep? Restful Nights

Want to embrace the feminine and feel empowered? Shield-Maiden

Do you like the smell of roses and think crystals look nice? Hippie S**t

Do you need a little moral support when it comes to anxiety? Calm & Composed

Are you as obsessed with patchouli as I am? Woodstock

While we all obviously have our own preferences when it comes to scent, there is no such thing as a “men’s scent”.

Will I maybe create a more “musky” scent at some point? Most likely. But that being said, my blends were all made with intention and creativity, for whoever would like to enjoy them.

If you ever have any suggestions for future blend scents, let me know! I can always use your suggestion as a starting point and then let my imagination run from there 🙂

If you’ve ever tried one of my signature oil blends, which one is your favorite? Tell me in the comments please!

Watch out, Lancaster. Ya girl is gonna be serving looks during dog walks now thanks to my matching bucket hat and f***y pack from .wheeler

It was so nice to be able to shop local makers in person, hang out with friends, and have my first market as Frankie Rue!

Huge thanks to for hosting us, for everyone that showed up and supported us, and just for the opportunity to share my creative outlet in person 🙂

I’m incredibly proud of Frankie Rue, and feel like my brand is becoming more me every day. Here’s to hopefully getting to meet more of your faces in person in the future!

I’m here until 2 at Square One!

✨Bug Spray got an upgrade ✨

Now in 2 oz aluminum spray bottles instead of glass! Much better for hiking, traveling, etc. Same effective mix of oils, still Deet free, and still smells way better than most bug sprays.

I’ll have 6 available at the market this Saturday from 10-2!

🌈 When you come out as bis*xual in your thirties, you get the question of “How did you not know before now?”

It’s not that I didn’t know, it’s that I didn’t embrace it and talk about it until my thirties.
Looking back, I knew deep down that I was q***r as a teen, I just tried to ignore it.

I knew in my twenties, but was told it was just a phase, or that girls claimed to be bi just to get attention.
My family didn’t know.
My friends probably didn’t know either.
I only ever actually dated men, and only told the men I was dating.
But my bis*xuality wasn’t accepted by most of the men I dated, it was fetishized.
“Let’s have a th*****me, but don’t wear that outfit because it makes you look like a lesbian.”
My bis*xuality was only encouraged if it was also benefiting them s*xually.

This led to even more confusion, suppression, and just piled onto my already existing s*xual trauma.

But there’s more to being q***r than just who you have s*x with. Embracing my s*xuality has allowed me to feel more comfortable with also embracing the feminine and masculine sides of myself, especially with how I dress. To feel ok with dressing a bit more androgynous sometimes. Something I didn’t feel comfortable doing until my thirties.

So yeah, I’m in a straight-passing relationship with a man, but I am bis*xual, and my bis*xuality is valid.

Idk, I just feel like there’s someone that needs to hear this.
It doesn’t matter what your story is, who you’ve dated, or when you realized it, if you’re q***r, you’re q***r. Your s*xuality is valid. Embrace it however you feel fit for you.

Happy Pride, y’all. 🌈❤️

✨It started out as a joke, but it’s not a joke anymore. ✨

Come see me and my bi***es at Frankie Rue’s debut market on Saturday. I’ll have a few of each scent.

We’re keeping an eye on the rain, but there will be a rain date if need be. I’ll keep ya posted.

✨Ready for a throwback to the 90’s/early 2000’s with this shimmery body spray? ✨

The combination of neroli, patchouli, and lemongrass reminds me of the honeysuckle that grew down the road from my childhood home. Add in the shimmery copper color giving you just the right amount of shine, and I might as well be 10 again.

This blend, formerly known as Copper Shimmer, gets its shimmery glow from synthetic mica. Why synthetic mica? Because it’s very difficult to find natural mica that is ACTUALLY ethically sourced, and synthetic mica works the same way and is just as safe for you to use. A perfect example of natural not always being better.

Where are all my 90’s kids at? Who else had the blueberry scented glittery roll on and an assortment of glittery body sprays as a kid? I know I’m not the only one lol
