This week we are featuring Amber Andreas Swan who is an AMAZING baker! She made my husbands vasectomy party cookies pictured below!

"Hi, my name is Amber Swan and I am a hobby baker. I am a mom of 3 young adult children, a wife, and a baker in my full-time job at Olivet College. I began baking cakes when my oldest son, who is now 23, turned 2, and I made his "decorate by number" birthday cake. I fell in love with creating these special touches and it has taken off from there. After years of making cakes of all occasions, I started testing the waters in fancy cookies, and that is where my true love is. I am a self-taught baker and have learned so many techniques from all the wonderful cookiers through social media. My favorite part of baking is adding that special touch to someone's special day.

Nicolette Skerratt is the true definition of a bad ass! She started this business from the ground up in 2020 while in quarantine with her kids and is now selling her products in 45 states while employing all women! Truly remarkable! Check her storefront out in Dewitt!

"Hello! I am Nicolette Skerratt, the Owner of Twisted Craft Cocktails, LLC., located in DeWitt, MI. I started my craft cocktail business journey in November 2020 after going a bit stir crazy while virtually schooling my children. I decided to give creating craft cocktail jars a try for a local fundraiser. They were extremely successful and that is when I decided to start my own business. I wanted to create something distinctive, yet delicious that would lift spirits during this stressful time we are living in. Another goal of mine was to ensure my prices were just as refreshing as my cocktails, making them available for all to enjoy!
ur growth has been amazing because of word-of-mouth advertising that we now wholesale our cocktails in over 225 other stores in 45 states. We are so thankful for the support we have received! Due to the high demand, we outgrew our initial location and in August of 2021, we purchased a commercial location at 126 E Main Street in DeWitt, MI. In addition to giving us a lot of growing room, we now have a retail storefront! Not only selling our Twisted Craft Cocktails, but also many other items for your entertaining needs. Come out and visit us when you are in town, I look forward to bringing some excitement to those that are looking for a way to lift their spirits!"
