Come for connection, support, and a cozy space to share your breastfeeding journey. Babies, toddlers, partners, and support people are always welcome.

Thanks to everyone who shared their time and valuable thoughts about how to be more present with our children.

Jon Kabat-Zinn PhD, Author and teacher of mindfulness, says:

"Mindfulness means moment-to-moment, non-judgmental awareness. It is cultivated by refining our capacity to pay attention, intentionally, in the present moment, and then sustaining that attention over time as best we can. In the process, we become more in touch with our life as it is unfolding."

What started as a regular Milk & Cookies lactation support gathering turned into a full-on celebration for Public Health Week. 🎉

We sent folks home with children’s toothbrushes, fresh local produce, and beans 🪥🍐🧅🥒🫘—but even better, we shared meaningful conversations about how to support home visiting organizations working to empower lactating clients.

That’s the magic of our Milk & Cookies gatherings—each one takes on a life of its own 💛

Join us this Thursday, April 9th at Mundo de Jugetes Toy Lending Library on Landers Rd. in Anthony, NM for our next Milk & Cookies gathering 🍪🥛

We’re celebrating Public Health Week with free children’s toothbrushes, dental health info, and lots of smiles! 🦷🪥
Come color, connect, and share stories with us—while showing a little extra love to those hardworking teeth!

As always our gathering is free. Cookies and snacks provided. Everyone is welcome!

Shout out to the New Mexico Breastfeeding Task Force Otero Chapter as they create space in their community for a Milk and Cookies group to thrive!
