I've created Love is Love Bath Truffles as a Valentine’s Day gift for my LGBTQ friends who need some extra kindness right now.

Each container holds six bath truffles, one in each color of the rainbow. At the bottom, I've added pink Himalayan salt for a touch of natural beauty. Nestled among the truffles are enchanting fairy lights, casting a gentle glow.

Years before I started selling soap, I began giving it to friends. Nobody just wakes up one day and decides to open a soap business without knowing how to make it first. And if a soap maker tells you they've always made great soap, they're not being honest. Becoming skilled at soap making takes time, dedication, and a bit of an obsession to turn out nine ugly bars and a barely-so-so-ish looking bar. Yet, whenever I give someone my soap, their reaction is always been the same—they light up, if only for a moment. Soap might not change anyone's life, but it’s a small way to acknowledge their presence. My friends often joke that I've been "nakey" with all of them, and in a way, they're right. Soap is to the body what laughter is to the soul.

The thing I cherish most about my business, and the part I'm most proud of, is This Little Soap of Mine, I’m Gonna Let It Shine. The unspoken part is that it shines light onto someone else's path. Eyes twinkle and smiles show themselves. Happy intentions flow through them.

Some of you may know me in person, and have seen that something has happened to me. Yep, proud NDE survivor here. Whether you believe or will find out one day, that experience is profound and you will always see the effects of your actions and feel the impact of everything you think, feel and do to others and what impact you had on them. Everything is connected and fluid like. What you have inside you, flows into the universal current we're all in together. Be kind to everyone.

I wanted to let you know that December 31st will be my last day in business. It has been an incredible journey, and your unwavering support has meant the world to me.

However, I can't participate in an economy that is designed for retribution, misogyny, or that goes against human rights and dignity. These values are essential to me, and I believe it's important to stand by them. Over the past month, the prices of raw ingredients have already increased by 50% to 500% due to bulk buying, making it unsustainable to continue in the same way.

Thank you for being a part of this journey. Your encouragement and support have been truly inspiring. While this chapter is ending, I will always cherish the memories.

I never know where my soap ends up, but sometimes it finds the most heartwarming places. Recently, I sent a few extra bars to a customer, who then shared them with the students at South Philadelphia High School. Imagine my surprise when I found out that these students do extra credit to earn things from their student store—and they specifically request my soap!

When I heard they get excited for something as basic as soap, I knew this was an "I have to be part of that story" moment. So, I made a simple confetti soap with the Gypsy Soul fragrance just for them. Knowing that something so small can bring a bit of joy and motivation to these hardworking students is incredibly rewarding.
