The nightrider summer series continues, tonight’s swaps are:
Off: Acerbis VSL headlight
On: Ruby R5 Moto Minded headlight
Off: FLO clutch lever
On: Torc1 clutch lever
Off: Tusk multi pivot brake lever
On: Polisport ATP stainless / plastic unbreakable brake lever
Standouts and callouts:
*See ya later VSL, which is a 48watt flood / task light and did an acceptable job up to about 25mph when usability fell off from there. The R5 is light-years (see what I did there) safer up to about 60mph
*The Polisport lever is super clever as a plastic lever with a stainless steel inner strip so when it bends in a fall instead of breaking it just bends right back

The desert night ride test and tune series continues. Tonight we change up w few things….
Off - Stock foot pegs
On - Factory Motion ADV pegs
Off - XK Glow headlight
On - Nacho Quattro combo headlight
Off - Stock bar clamps
On - Urmosi bar clamp system
Standouts - all three are a major improvement over what they replaced, the cushioned bar mounting system is my fav as I do like me some high-level vibration damping

The standouts:
* Hiemdall clutch lever - super easy 1 finger lever with a nice finger perch and bend angle

* Sphere 3 fork inserts - for rough and rocky moderate pace single track it’s hard to beat the smoothness and confidence

First night test of the new Baja Designs XL40 Trail Light was better than expected, it’s an ideal pattern and brightness for single track and woods riding at a fairly modest 43 watts. Its much less eye fatiguing in single track than an XL80 with better side throw and near view trail illumination
Liked it enough to keep it on for a while
Don’t be jammin’ no rando accessories up into these plugs yo ⚡️☠️⚡️
