My 3 questions to finding out what my client wants -

1. More uniform/clean or texture?
2. short, medium, long?
3. open eye or more sultry?

My client picked a hybrid set that is uniform, medium length, with open eye shaping. I love how this look brightened up her eyes without overwhelming or covering up her eye shape.

For the girlies who like it natural but add a little spice ✨

I shared my go to wispy/spikey lash map for those who want to show their lash artist and recreate it, I created this using closed and wide fans. Black is top and middle layer, white is base layer.

*Tip: Always start short in the inner corners, and start the spikes until 1/5th of the eye, this creates a seamless transition because the inners typically only have 1-2 layers max. *

As you can see in the photo, the white part of the eye is not visible no matter how much I PULL BACK the lid!
Gel pads, foam tape, and surgical tape help seal the eye during the process so fumes from the glue curing do not irritate your eyes. It’s very important to keep your eyes closed during the service as this will reduce contact with the fumes. This also helps your lash artist work much quicker if your eyes are not watering, and bottom lashes slipping out from under the eye pad.

Common cause of eyelids opening is excessive caffeine, general anxiety, and “facial” expressions while talking.

Spikes have become the biggest trend for lash extensions, mostly all my clients are loving this airy look. However I don’t see this as a trend, I see myself doing this look for a long time. I love that we can create different effects with these spikes.

Makeup removers, baby shampoo, and micellar water aren’t made to cleanse extensions therefore they’re not cutting it. Pick up your lash cleanser and other lash needs in my studio 💧

Let me tell you!! A year ago I would have never imagined I’d be a textured lashes person. I took so many classes to understand and imitate the true “Russian volume” look. But my girls started asking for a airy, “messy” look. So I’ve been taking a couple new courses to get better at creating intentional texture in my sets. I love being challenged to get out of my comfort zone. Let’s keep the spikey/wispy lashes coming!!

POV: You’re getting a perfect lash lift 🤩

The way you place the lashes on the rod greatly affect the outcome of your lash lift. If the eyelashes are separated poorly and not in the proper direction results in the end result looking messy or not enough of a lift due to the product not penetrating properly. The ultimate patience is required when pulling back those eyelashes on the rod. 🤌🏼

Always staying clean and sanitary in my studio with these Revoläshion acrylic lash tiles. Before when I was a newbie lash artist I would use those glass tiles everyone would get from home depot. The only problem is that they don’t have lids like Revo’s does so it is not the most sanitary or cute.
These protect from dust, dirt, or any airborne particles from landing on them and they’re easy to disinfect weekly. They also look aesthetic af in my work space 🤩
