Stress, hormones, terrible diet & a bunch of other factors contributed to one of the worst cystic acne breakouts I’ve ever had in my life. It didn’t help that I had completely slipped on my skincare routine. I had bumps and blackheads on almost every part of my face. It got so bad that I even invested in picking tools and facial vacuums to extract the excess gunk & puss from my face. None of it worked.

I had to think hard about what I was using prior to this, a few months back when my skin was flourishing, and it was the Sunflower Essences oatmeal & honey soap! DUH!! Ugh. I swore by this product for months because it had helped me previously get rid of my stubborn acne and inflamed skin but for some reason it had slipped my mind - probably because I had used it all & hadn’t restocked on inventory yet. 😭🙈 Can you say slacking?!

It’s okay, I usually learn my lessons the hard way & after this last breakout I’ll never go back to commercial products nor neglect my skin again no matter how busy and chaotic life seemingly gets.

I still have hyperpigmentation and scars left from picking that I have to work on reducing, but my skin is visibly smoother and more evenly toned under the marks after resuming the use of the oats & honey shea butter soap.

These pictures were taken one week apart from another which gives you a good idea of just how fast the results were. Obviously they may vary depending on skin type, etc.. but this soap is def a must-have in your all-natural skin care routine!
