Frozen Bottle Of Water

So today was an amazing day! We gave out blankets and hugs.
Found out that the one person we had been looking for is still alive, just isn’t very visible lately. One of our guys is still in the hospital. We will try to find out what hospital.
Drove down by my job and found a group of homeless that were so surprised by us stopping by and giving them blankets.
But here we are…. Loving one of our people

Remember: Not everyone is looking for a handout, but a hand up.

So today we are out handing out blankets and looking for any of our old friends that may still be in the area.
Sadly, this may be one of our last trips out to this side of Vegas, since most of our groups have either moved on, passed away or are living and working and in their own places.
This journey has taken us through so many emotions and challenges. We are blessed to have had the opportunity to share our lives with so many people from so many different backgrounds.
That doesn’t mean that we are not going to be doing this any longer… it means that we are just going to go to another location that is closer to us and needs our help.
We appreciate each and everyone of you who have followed us through our journey and hope you will continue to do so.

It is with a heavy heart that I post that our sweet Rosie has passed away.

I have no words... she has been in my life for 7 years and always had a smartass comment when we met up.

She is survived by a beautiful daughter and 3 grandchildren. Plus many more family members and friends

Please keep them in prayer during this time of sorrow.

Well another ‘Stop and drop’ happened today. We have two groups that we bring food, water and clothes to. Still no hugging or anything like that but still getting food and necessities.

Made another doggie friend too.

Thank you Teri, for the clothes and blankets and much needed toilet paper.

So with this pandemic that’s going on, we have not been able to do our normal last Saturday of the month events.

However what we are going to start doing is going to be mobile. Meaning we will do a stop and drop with no contact and still be able to check in on our people but also be able to give them clothes shoes blankets and food.

Last week I was able to give a large stack of clothes and two small sacks to one of our camps. Along with raising Cane‘s chicken dinner.

Today I met another angel. This woman is 20 years clean and has her own homeless story.

She gave us sleeping bag, masks, duffel bags, blankets, clothes, shoes.....you name it. This angel is very very much appreciated within our group.

It only takes a minute to clean out your closet and give us a message and we will pick it up.

Even though we are still at a stand still for our lunches...I just want to say HAPPY ANNIVERSARY FROZEN BOTTLE OF WATER!
6 years old today!

Long distanced hugs were given.
Everyone was very happy with the drop off.
Only one camp was empty but after a phone call we left a box near by for Joker and his crew.

We live in trying times right now...we need to help as much as we can as distanced as well.
