I need everyone’s help! Deregulation of Sugaring (a type of hair removal) that is done by estheticians was deregulated today. This affects many of us that have our licenses to safely hair removal… If the governor does not veto, it’s only a matter of time before waxing is deregulated and then our whole field of Cosmetology… We (the beauty industry) have been on the chopping block for years.
The only hope left—for the governor to veto.
There’s a petition coming out tonight. We are going to do our best to collect signatures til Friday.
Gov only has a tiny window to veto before it’s a law.
