Throwback to the beginning of March 😅😅😅 This was my first time meeting Crystal, and it was so fun to get to know her! She’s been back several times now and the nail designs she picks just keep getting better and better! Not to mention, she has the most perfect long nail beds! 😍

You guys, I DID IT! Really, I should say WE did it! Thank you all so much for your support through this nail apprenticeship dream of mine. I truly couldn’t have finished without the help of my village! supported me every step of the way! My kids were so patient with me as I struggled to balance school/work and motherhood. My parents, mother-in-law, Kurtis, and friends took turns watching my kids, taking them to activities, and letting Sarge out to go potty. I appreciated the help so much!

And that’s not even mentioning the 40 people who booked an appointment (sometimes even multiple)! Wow! I am just blown away by the support of my friends and family—and the 8 new friends I’ve made along the way. It truly means the world to me! Thank you for coming and being patient with me as I learned!

If you didn’t get a chance to come see me for whatever reason, it’s ok! I I have relished in every follow, like, share and comment on nailed.it and every in person conversation I’ve had asking me about my adventure. It warms my heart to know that you all care and are supporting me! Thank you!

Of course I can’t end my post without giving a shout-out to my instructor and co-apprentice .with.may because they are both amazing nail techs and I am a better nail tech because of them! It was a pleasure spending a good chunk of my time with them the last 5 months!

Now that my hours are done, my services requirement has been met, and I’ve passed my tests—what’s next? Well, I need to start my own business! I applied for a business license last week and this week I’ll be turning in my paperwork to get my official nail tech license! Holy crap, I’m so excited! I’m planning on doing nails/pedicures from my home based salon in west layton. Updated availability and pricing coming soon! DM me if you’re interested in booking! I promise, you won’t regret it!
