So… Which One Do You Choose? 🤔

Choose a Weighted Blanket if: You want full-body relaxation, better sleep, and the kind of comfort that makes you forget what day it is.

Choose a Weighted Animal if: You (or your kid) need portable, targeted comfort and a cuddle buddy that fits in a backpack.

Choose Both if: You’re human. Life is hard. Comfort is good. Why are we even pretending you’ll pick just one?

👉 Bottom line: Whether you want the steady hug of a blanket or the adorable companionship of a weighted animal, Grampa’s Garden has you covered. Literally.

Check out our latest blog post about our business here in Maine!🦞

We all have those “things” that overtime become less of a “thing” and more of a tradition…

When I was four years old, I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and my parents went through so many options while trying to find me some pain relief. One summer at the lake house with my grandmother in Maine we made our annual trip to @llbean where she found me my first @grampas_garden_official “warmer” in the shape of a little lavender bunny. for years to come, when doctors would ask what it would make me feel better I would respond “my bunny.”

Year after year we would go buy a new one, not just for me, but the whole family. It became our annual tradition.

When I had my babies, my mom gifted me one. They have been the comfort on long nights, sick days, and snuggly mornings.

As we went through the autism diagnostic process for both of my children, I was amazed at how they each gravitated to the warmth and weight these body shawls provided. Often stealing or sneaking off with mine 😂

I can’t even begin to tell you how many we’ve gone through just since having babies.

For my son’s sixth birthday I reached out to @grampas_garden_official directly and asked if they would be willing to make custom body shawls for my family.

The love they showed our family in return was so incredibly beautiful. And now I have the honor of my own babies using them at THIER grandparents lake house.

If I can impart anything to you today, find the thing that can be a comfy, warm tradition. And maybe it’s a body shawl from @grampas_garden_official 💗

✨ We pressed pause on Trivia Tuesday this week—because some stories are simply too special not to share.

This summer, Elise, the incredible creator of Raising Rainbow Brains, reached out with a heartfelt request: could we create a custom Body Shawl for her son’s birthday? 💙

From the very first email, to receiving the fabric, to carefully crafting the piece, and finally wrapping it up with love before sending it off… every step felt like being part of their family’s celebration.

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. Our products aren’t just fabric and stitching—they’re comfort, calm, and joy that ripple through homes, schools, and even children’s hospitals.

We’re so grateful for stories like Elise’s, and for every family who trusts Grampa’s Garden to bring warmth and peace into their lives. 💜

Thank you, Elise & Raising Rainbow Brains, for letting us be part of your journey. 💕

Grampa's Garden was founded in: 1993!!!

Although no one guessed correctly on either platform, Leigh W. had the closest guess of 1995.

Thank you to everyone who played and we will have another round next week 😀
