🌞 Welcome Our Little Sunshine 🌞

After 14 years of hope, healing, and heartache, our family’s dream has finally come true. We are overjoyed to introduce Campbell Oaks Thacker. He has filled our hearts in ways words can’t fully express.

Our journey hasn’t been easy, but every step has led us here. We share this moment with gratitude, love, and respect for the precious story that brought him to us. We are forever grateful for his wonderful birth mom and her sacrifice of love.

We want to celebrate this beautiful new chapter with all of you who have supported us along the way.

We had a magical Christmas vacation at Disneyland/Legoland/Utah. We got to spend lots of time with loved ones and eat all of the Disneyland treats! Colton got to meet Beau for the first time as well. We are grateful for the Christmas season to pause and remember the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. Our lives are blessed because of Him!

This year we put up three separate Christmas trees, each with a special memory of a loved one. As the season went on these 3 trees reminded me of the Christmas book from my childhood, The Three Trees. I was able to read the book for the first time in years. It was a great reminder that we can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps. I’m grateful for tender mercies like this that come when we take a step back to reflect during this busy time of year. ❤️

Traveled to Utah to help my sister with my new Nephew Beau!! This trip was filled with lots of baby snuggles, cleaning, organizing, early morning feeds, shopping and spending lots of time with family! Beau is a miracle child and a true testament that God is in the details of our lives. To see my sister and her husband become a parents has been one of the greatest joys of my life. While in Utah we celebrated my daughter Graces birthday at the cemetery with my Thacker family and spent the day with them. So grateful for all of my nieces and nephews!

Our trip to Utah was action packed in a short amount of time. We arrived and went to play pickle ball with the fam. We had sweet Swayzie Popes baby blessing. No stop niece and nephew time. Visited my dads new house he’s building. Family pictures in Midway at the Thacker family homestead. I got to attend an ultrasound appointment with my sister and throw her a baby shower for her new little one. Sat with Bronson and Grace for a bit. Breakfast with the Pottle family who came from Az for the shower. Had Roystons 1st bday party, and attended the most beautiful wedding of Chase and Kelsi Black. There was not a relaxing moment, but it sure made for lots of memories!!

My talented wife did an amazing job today putting this wedding reception together. I know it was stressful for her at times but she pulled it all together like a pro.

10 years of Marriage with Colton. Looking back most years have been filled with lots of love and laughter, some were filled with heartbreak and grief. Colton is logical, smart, a perfectionist, and always looking to improve himself. He keeps things real. I am the optimist, dreamer, most stubborn, and the one who keeps things weird. He often gets a phone call or text from me that just states a random fact, idea, or to ask him how to get to Walmart when we have lived here for 5 years. He takes it all in stride. We make a pretty good team. Lucky for me I tricked him into marrying me, lucky for him, I know how to bake.

We have had a busy few weeks. Colton and I were a Ma & Pa to 9 kids for our churches Pioneer Trek. We had a great time. It was hot and humid, but the kids were amazing and we all learned we can do hard things. I am so grateful for these women who I get to serve with in the Stake Young Women’s Presidency. They all worked so hard to make this trek experience possible. We can laugh so hard and have a great time together. They are some of my favorite people!

Happy Fathers Day to His Fathers Day looks different than most, but I still like to celebrate him and the man and Father he is to Bronson and Grace. I’m sure they are proud beyond measure to call him their dad. They definitely got a good one!

It’s this guys Birthday!!! Happy 34th Birthday to the guy who does it all. He is always the first to ask if anyone needs help, or just steps right in to do it. Everyone loves him, animals included (well most of the time) Colton continues to impress me each year we are together. He has a heart of Gold! If you happen to make him mad, just crack a joke and he can’t help but laugh and move on. (Trust me 🤪) He is quiet and trustworthy, but he has pretty great one liners when he decides to speak. He is an observer, but also a doer. Colton strives to do the best in everything he does. He is an incredible partner and an blessing in my life. Love you babe! ❤️🎂🎁🎉 Colton Thacker
