Let's be safe when taking herbal remedies.
Just because it's natural, doesn't mean that it won't hurt you or cause an interaction with your medication.

For example, if you take birth control, then you probably should not take St. John's Wart for it lessens the effects of the birth control, and you could still get pregnant.
You also don't want to take St. John's wart if you are taking antidepressants, for it can cause a serotonin overload, and you could have side effects like difficulty with breathing.
