RootedMoon Yoga
Rooted in self. Rising with power. Rooted Moon embodies movement, creative healing, and soul work.
When strength and softness stop arguing, they actually start dancing together. Somewhere in that dance, I find myself again over and over. The deeper I dive into practice and free my mind, the more my body remembers how to move without hesitation, less about doing, more about allowing. And the more I soften, the more strength I gain. And vice versa. It’s all about balance.
This is what I keep coming back to on the mat:
presence that feels honest in my skin. However it needs to release for that day.

What a blessed day it is🌸☀️
Today we concentrate on Asteya; the practice of non-stealing. This can translate into time, peace, energy or attention.
In our daily life maybe it’s arriving on time to meet up with a friend or to an appointment, don’t make them wait. Practicing active listening, not interrupting when someone else is speaking. Making sure we don’t overcommit ourselves to where it’s draining our energy or others. And also just appreciating what we already have instead of trying to compare to others.
What are a few ways you can practice Asteya?
Classes were so dope last week!
This week we’re kicking it slightly different!
Tuesday: 6pm Vinyasa Kurma Yoga Studio
Wednesday: 5pm Hatha Kurma Yoga Studio
This coming up weekend I will be in Gatlinburg🧸 with the fam💁♀️ so no classes.
After that it should be smooth sailing ⛵️ most of June!
I love you guys🫶 Come kick it with me in class!
Fingers crossed for some Sunshine this weekend!☀️
Come Sunday if it’s still raining, 10am park yoga may be cancelled so keep a lookout 👀
It may be the universe asking us to deepen our practice within our own walls that morning🏡
If it is cancelled June is going to hold wonderful opportunities for even more park yoga! As well as more consistent!
As of tomorrow it’s still going down!
So if you’re feeling up for some core come see me @ 7:30 am or 11:30am!
You’re all so beautiful✨

What a beautiful rainy day🫶
Let’s focus on Satya today. The practice of living honestly and authentically.
We start to match our outer selves with our inner believes while also balancing it with Ahimsa.
This could be speaking about your emotions truthfully instead of pretending you’re okay. Breathing through the process. It could also mean taking a rest instead of pushing through the day; honoring the body and minds authentic needs.
What can you do today to take a step towards Satya?
Also, super stoked for Saturday!

Good morning you beautiful souls✨
Today the goal is to zoom in on Ahimsa; the absence of harm to you and to others!
I challenge you to speak softer to yourself and others today. Traffic is bad? Breathe. Pushing yourself too far? Stop, release, and breathe. Didn’t finish your assignment on time? Recognize what went wrong, create more appropriate timing for yourself next time, and wait for it…. Breeaaathhheeee😮💨

🚨Announcement time!!
The next yoga in the park(should we give it a cool name?🤔) will be May 24th! Let’s hope it’s nice and sunshiney!!☀️
I will create an event for it soon!
Remember this is donation based, it is always appreciated but never expected! I just really want to stretch and move with some lovely people! I want practice to be accessible for everyone✨
It’ll be at 10am, we will do a very gentle good morning flow adding just a touch of some beautiful spicies!
It’ll be at lake Reba by the horseshoe complex(is that the right name?). If we get a big enough group we will move it further back by the lake!
Bring your own mat, and don’t forget the hydration!
Come hang out with me at Kurma Yoga Studio tonight🫶
