This Astonishing Fully Transparent Solar Cell Could Turn Every Window And Screen Into A Power Source In August 2015, researchers at Michigan State University created a transparent solar concentrator, which can turn any window or sheet of glass into a solar cell. This technology is truly amazing!

DESIGN ANNOUNCEMENT!!! After lots of google mapping, scale checking, logistics planning, and tons of sketching, I am pleased to announce that phase 1 of my design submission to the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Board is done. Heres some information and facts about solar power and what the use of it, with our current capacity solar panels of 32.5% efficiency, means for the country, the states, and our local communities AKA YOU. Recently sciencetists at the University of Michigan were able to create a multi-layered solar panel (each layer a different color) and each layer topped with it's own unique coating of prismatic glass to better scatter the incoming light, thus creating a solar cell that more closely mimics actual leaves than anything remotely before it and this cell had a capacity of 62.73% efficiency. Thats the greatest leap forward in solar cell design and capacity than all the baby steps of the last decade and a half combined. We're edging closer and closer to viable, reliable, sustainable, and most importantly CHEAPER energy folks. I ofcourse thought of a wearable phone my first year of college, but with "I-Watches" about to be released by most every major tech empire...Here is both a jab at our obsession with all things world wide web related and yet a design not too far off from what I'd imagined a smartwatch would both look like and be capable of. BTW...the technology that would support a design like this does infact exist and could easily become a fully realized product in the nexrt year or two. Keep an Eye out.
