Honestly, I don’t know where this myth even started 🤷🏼‍♀️

When you are going into a salon for a color appointment, clean hair is always 👏🏻 better 👏🏻

Here’s why: 👇🏻

✨ If you are coming in for a blonding appointment and your hair greasy and 5 days dirty with built up product and dry shampoo, the lightener has to work through all of that FIRST before it can even start lifting your hair.

Clean hair = a clean palette
Clean hair = a cleaner lift

✨ This same principle goes for gray coverage. Wash out temporary root sprays before your appointment.

Dirty hair does not help when it comes to color applications. It doesn’t help the color take better, nor does it make our job easier. Clean hair is always best 😁
