✨ WALK-INS START MONDAY! ✨
Beginning Monday, November 10th from 5–7 PM, I’ll officially be taking walk-ins at Saving Face Barber Academy in Liverpool! Haircuts are FREE, and our amazing teachers will be there supervising.

The pictures posted are cuts #2 and #3 on real people no mannequins— both done with love and learning. The mid fade on the blonde was done in my kitchen as my second cut ever (no mirrors, terrible lighting 😅) but I think it came out pretty good! The taper on the textured 4C hair was my third cut — no befores, but he wanted his beard gone and kept just his goatee. I straight razored his beard and did his eyebrow slits.

We’ll be closed Tuesday, November 11th for Veterans Day, but I’d love to see anyone come out Monday for a cut! Aside from holidays and breaks (which I will post when those days come). Walk-ins are Mon-Thurs (5p-7p) and will continue through the rest of school (roughly march/april) but again, I will keep updates on all of the dates.

The love and support I’ve received so far has been absolutely amazing. I truly can’t express my thankfulness enough. 🫶🏽

I also included photos from a FaceTime with my amazing family and future coworkers — some of the most hardworking women I know. The way their faces lit up when I showed them my cuts proves I’m exactly where I’m meant to be. With Grammie’s near 30 years, Mom’s 20+ years, and Austin’s, Aunt Syd’s, and Uncle Roy’s decades in the trade, I’m following in the footsteps of greatness.

💈 Special thanks 💈
To Munchie, my dad, Ben, and Gabe for trusting me in the chair.
To my mom and grandma who have been by my side since day one.
To Austin, Aunt Syd, and Uncle Roy for supporting my journey and reminding me I’m right where I belong.
To my dad for being so supportive and building me a beautiful home — your hard work never goes unnoticed.
To Aunt Teresa for the continuous support and helping take care of my cats and home while I’m at school.
To my best friend Wayne for letting me stay at his place while I chase this dream — it might seem small to you, but it means the world to me.
To my amazing friends for all your love and support, especially Sarah, who always knows when to bring pizza and dessert on rough days 🍕🩷.
And to my brother Anden, who proudly shows everyone my cuts — it means everything.

If I forgot anyone, please know how truly grateful I am for you. I’ve never been more excited for my future.

Come see me at school for a FREE haircut, spread the word, and thank you all again for the endless love and encouragement! 🙏💈

also: I have a video of Gabe’s cut however, it won’t let me post with pictures so I will add to different post

PHOTO DUMP!!

Haven’t posted in a minute, but here’s a little update as I head into week 5 on Monday!

These past few weeks have been full of learning and growth — I’ve practiced low, mid, and high fades, tapers, braids, straight razor shaves, and even did my first real haircut with the help of my mom! thanks to munchie for his patience and trust as my first practice customer and thank you so much to my mom and grandma for assistanting and correcting the process🫶🏼 My haircutting skills and confidence have made such great progress, and the improvement in my braiding is crazy too.

I’m having so much fun and loving every second of it. Plus, I’ve gotten 100s on all of my exams so far, and that just makes me even more excited to keep pushing and learning more.

p.s. The mannequins are soo difficult to fade and cut so they all look a little crazy haha but you can see the vision

Can’t wait to see what the next few weeks bring — more updates coming soon, so make sure to follow along! 💈🤍

I would love 1-2 people to come to Saving Face Barber Academy this week for a free practice cut with the supervision of my teachers! Walk-ins are also approaching shortly so be on the lookout for that as well!

Message me with any questions or if you’re interested in a cut or some braids 🫶🏽

All of your love and support is beyond appreciated

Ending week 2 of barber school and I’m loving every bit of it! My second cut wasn’t perfect, but that’s all part of the learning process — progress over perfection every time. Been practicing a little braiding and correcting my parting. I’m proud to say I got a 100% on my second exam, and it’s the best feeling seeing my hard work pay off. Every week I feel more confident behind the chair, more creative with my cuts, and more sure that I’ve found what I’m meant to do. 💈✂️ I’ll be updating as I start taking walk-ins soon, so make sure to follow and share to keep up with my journey — your support means everything!

First week officially complete! 💈✂️

What a week it’s been! I can’t believe how much I’ve already learned in just a few days. On my 4th day, I did my very first blunt cut haircut, and to top it off, I got a 100 on my first practical exam! My instructor even told me my cut was perfect, which honestly made my whole day. Moments like that remind me that I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.

Starting barber school has already been such an amazing experience. Every day I’m gaining more confidence, learning new techniques, and understanding the craft in a deeper way. It’s so cool to see the progress — even the parts that felt challenging at first are starting to come together and make sense.

I absolutely love what I’m doing, and it’s only the beginning. I can’t wait to keep improving, trying new styles, and building my skills week by week. The passion, the people, the energy — all of it just feels right.

Thanks to everyone who’s been cheering me on — your support means everything! Stay tuned for more updates as I keep working toward becoming the best barber I can be. 🫶🏽
