You will become addicted to massage therapy! Faccini, Jr.
One addiction worth sticking to! Renewed Energy Massage Therapy is owned and operated by David J. in the Niagara Falls/Buffalo, NY area. All sessions are customized to meet your needs at the current time. I pride myself in providing quality massage therapy services. I graduated from Trocaire College in 2001 with my A.A.S. degree and successfully completed the New York State licensing examination. I strongly believe in a holistic approach to healthcare and see massage therapy as a vital role in today's medical and wellness community. Through my training at Trocaire College, I had the opportunity to treat a variety of patients in the schools clinical setting. Apart from being a Licensed Massage Therapist, I am also a Physical Therapist Assistant, graduating from Niagara County Community College in 1994 with my A.A.S. degree. I am a caring, generous and enthusiastic individual who was drawn to healthcare as a career due to my innate desire to help others. My belief is massage therapy can help alleviate human suffering and pain through the power of touch. The one-to-one approach of massage creates space for each patient to experience their own natural healing capabilities. It is my goal to provide a comforting and safe environment in which to facilitate healing in mind, body and spirit. Touch is as essential to a healthy and happy life as eating right, getting proper sleep, and exercising. With the world growing more technological, the awareness of the need for healthy human contact is becoming more vital. Massage and body therapies offer an inviting, safe, and healing refuge for humans living in a fast-paced stressed-out world. At Renewed Energy Massage Therapy, I bring the skilled tranquil touch you need and deserve. Whether it is a two-hour escape from the world or a thirty-minute focused session - you will want to make massage a part of your ongoing health routine.
As you may know, there are many different forms or styles of massage available. These can be generalized into two origins: Eastern and Western. The primary difference is in their approach to the body. With Eastern styles (Shiatsu, Acupressure, Polarity) the work involves an understanding of the body's energy. Western styles of massage (Swedish, Esalen, Neuromuscular Therapy, Trager, Myofascial Release, and Connective Tissue Therapy) are based on an anatomical understanding of our body. Each person responds differently to massage and there isn't just one style that is best for all.
At Renewed Energy Massage Therapy, I blend techniques from several of these styles into a massage session that is right for you. My work is based on a version of Swedish massage termed Connective Tissue Therapy and is effective in promoting good health and well-being in many individuals. Feel Better Friday
One of the most common things I hear:
“I didn’t realize how tight I was until after the massage.”
We get used to carrying tension in our neck, shoulders, low back, and hips. Sometimes feeling better starts with noticing what your body has been compensating for.
If you’ve been feeling unusually stiff or tense lately, this is your reminder not to ignore it.

Wellness Wednesday
Sitting for long periods? Try this simple reset:
* Roll your shoulders backward 10 times
* Gently tuck your chin and hold for 5
seconds
* Stand up and walk for 1 minute
It takes less than two minutes and can help reduce neck and shoulder tension that builds up during the day.
Save this for your next work break!

Massage Myth Monday:
“You should only get a massage when you’re in pain.”
Many people wait until they can barely turn their neck or get up from a chair. Massage is often most effective when used before tension becomes pain.
Regular sessions can help reduce muscle tightness, improve mobility, and make everyday activities feel easier.
What area of your body tends to get tight first?

Sunday Self-Check: What is your body trying to tell you?
Before you start a new week, take 30 seconds to check in with yourself.
* Is your neck feeling stiff?
* Are your shoulders creeping up toward your ears?
* Is your low back sore after a busy weekend?
* Do your hips feel tight after yard work, golfing, or traveling?
Our bodies often give us subtle signals before discomfort turns into pain. Taking time to listen - and address those signals early - can help you move more comfortably throughout the week.
What’s one area of your body that feels like it could use a little extra attention today? Let me know in the comments!
Wishing everyone a relaxing Sunday and a healthy start to the week.

🌱 Did You Know? Massage Therapy Does More Than Relax Your Muscles
Most people think massage is just for stress relief - but there’s real science behind how it supports whole‑body wellness.
💡 Here’s what actually happens during a therapeutic massage:
1. Your circulation increases.
Improved blood flow helps deliver oxygen and nutrients to tight or injured tissues, supporting faster recovery and reducing soreness.
2. Your nervous system shifts into “rest and restore” mode.
Massage activates the parasympathetic nervous system - lowering heart rate, calming the mind, and decreasing stress hormones like cortisol.
3. Muscles become more flexible.
By releasing adhesions and tension patterns, massage enhances mobility and can help prevent future injuries.
4. Pain signals decrease.
Massage stimulates the body’s natural pain-relieving chemicals, including endorphins and serotonin, helping reduce chronic discomfort.
✨ When done regularly, massage can support:
✅ Better posture
✅ Improved sleep
✅ Reduced anxiety
✅ Faster workout recovery
✅ Greater overall well-being
Investing in your body isn’t a luxury - it’s essential care.
If you want to feel the difference for yourself, I’d love to help you on your wellness journey.
