It is so good to be home! Shaker Village Craft Fair was amazing, as always, but I love coming home! ❤️ Our farm sitter is GREAT! But, the dogs always breathe a little easier when "Mom and Dad" get home. ❤️ I swear they're like, "It's okay man, they came home. We survived. Again. 😂

Healing Balm spotlight
Josh created this for me. I was having Sciatica issues. Like paralyzing pain. It came on out of nowhere and caused some serious crankinnes on my part. I put it on at night befote i went to bed. I can not express how relieved I was to get out of bed like a normal person the next morning. My first thought; gratitude. My second, this has to be on our shelves because so many people struggle with back problems and sciatica. So here it us: Josh's magical pain buster.

Yarrow has been called “soldier’s woundwort” for centuries. Legend says Achilles used it on the battlefield to help stop bleeding and support wound healing — which is where its botanical name Achillea comes from.
Traditionally, people have also reached for yarrow for:
• Helping the body deal with fevers (it encourages gentle sweating)
• Supporting digestion and easing occasional stomach discomfort
• Helping regulate menstrual flow and ease cramping
• As a general circulatory tonic
Our Yarrow Tincture is made from plants we grow right here on the farm in Laurel County.

For the first time in 5 years, we had to cancel going to an event because of this extreme heat. We hated to do it, but managing the farm in weather like this is a lot to dump on a farm sitter.

So instead, we’re home checking water, making sure nobody is getting too hot, and sneaking in the good parts between rounds — swimming, BBQ, and a little 4th of July fun on the farm.

$5 bucks will get you 4 big ice cubes. Our son found these at Aldi. He was so gobsmacked he sent a photo, with his wife wife displaying them like a pro product model, 😆 instead of buying them. We’ll be accepting parenting awards in the freezer aisle.😆
