Our handcrafted cold process soap is made with natural oils and glycerin that’s created during the soap-making process. Unlike many commercial soaps, we don’t remove that glycerin—it’s one of the reasons our soap is so moisturizing!

The downside? Glycerin is a natural humectant, meaning it attracts moisture from the air. On hot, humid days at outdoor markets, the soap may feel slightly sticky or damp. That doesn’t mean it’s melting or going bad—it’s simply reacting to the humidity.

Once you take it home and store it in a cool, dry place, it will return to its normal feel.
