I am beyond excited to share that my short film “Little Witches” was selected for The Cannes Film Festival!

This is just the third time I’ve directed on set and the very first time I’ve had my writing produced! Pulling this film together was no small feat, especially as it was raining everyday, but we did it! We made this creepy-cute world come to life (and then death?). I couldn’t be more proud of this team. Here’s to making movie magic with some of my favorite people ✨

A few words regarding the incredible films produced at 2022 Winter Camp below.

The Young Actors’ Theatre Camp announced that 6 of the short films that were created at the Camp will PREMIERE at The American Pavilion at The Cannes Film Festival! 5 Films will be a part of The Emerging Filmmakers Showcase at The American Pavilion at The Cannes Film Festival. The film “August” will have a special screening at The American Pavilion as well as have a prominent spot in the Short Film Corner at The Cannes Film Festival!

"We couldn’t be more proud of all of our filmmakers and campers,” said Camp Director Shawn Ryan. “To have campers be able to create projects at our camp alongside these incredible mentors and then have those projects be given a platform at a festival like Cannes is just marvelous. We are so grateful to The American Pavilion and to The Cannes Film Festival’s Short Film Corner for including our CampYATC films!”
