Just because your lamp flashes both wavelengths doesn’t mean it can walk into every gel’s VIP section.

Some brands only respond to 365nm. Some prefer 405nm. Some need both…with the right intensity, spread, and time.

If your lamp’s not built to deliver all three, you’re still standing outside the velvet rope…
…and your set is half-baked.

💡 Think Lab Tip: Pair your lamp with your gel system like you’d pair your outfit to the runway — wrong pairing, wrong results.

💡 THINK THAT UV BOX IS STERILIZING YOUR TOOLS? THINK AGAIN.

Just because it glows purple… doesn’t mean it’s killing bacteria.

A lot of those cute “UV sterilizers” being sold to nail techs are nothing more than LED light shows. No real disinfection. No real sterilization. No real UVC.

Here’s how to tell if it’s real:
🔬 Hospital-grade = UVC light at 254 nm
🚫 Fake = Cheap purple/blue LEDs for show
✅ Check the wavelength on the label (254 nm is standard)
✅ Must say UVC, not just “UV”
✅ Sourced from medical suppliers or FDA-registered
✅ Safety shut-off if opened mid-cycle

Snob House Rule:

If it doesn’t list the wavelength… don’t trust the glow.

Pretty doesn’t protect your clients. Specs do.

If your polish bottle was completely opaque like this, it could actually protect gel formulas from light…it doesn’t have to be a pot💡but..Would you still choose the pretty bottle if you knew? …and I think everyone just knows this 😌💡
