Who’s requesting compounded estradiol from their provider??
At least there is an option until this back order is resolved.
Our provider says it’s a great option to help continue getting estradiol. Cuz what we’re not going to do is go back to those hotflashes and mood changes 😤
Assessments still need to be done. Labs still need to be drawn, right? Don’t just throw estrogen at women without first making sure that’s what they really need.
Hormone imbalances are so complex and some women need more than estradiol to manage their symptoms. For other women they don’t need estradiol at all! They actually need to counterbalance it.
Listen to women. Hear what they tell you first and then decide what they need period.

Perimenopause symptoms can be so random, you don’t even realize thats what it is. The more we talk about it and educate each other and use resources like our resident hormone specialist, the better we will become.
Partil hysterectomy's have their place but they don't always fix all the hormonal issues that are occurring. This young lady reached out and connected withour specialist. We know she's in good hands now.
It's crazy because "no" or "not necessary" is the standard answer for checking hormones. The provider says they're actually part of a larger hormone panel that she uses to check women's hormones. That's why she's our resident specialist!
