Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta That Looks Like a Restaurant Meal! 🍗🍝🤤 Juicy, Golden-Brown Chicken Drumsticks on a Bed of Rich, Creamy Fettuccine.

Creamy Cajun Chicken Fettuccine.
Ingredients (Serves 4)
For the chicken:
4 chicken drumsticks
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
For the creamy pasta:
12 oz (340 g) fettuccine pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning, adjusted to taste
1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
½ cup (120 ml) chicken broth
½ cup (50 g) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper to taste
Chopped parsley for garnish
👩‍🍳 Instructions
Step 1: Season the chicken.
Pat the chicken drumsticks dry. Rub them with olive oil, paprika, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
Step 2: Cook the chicken.
Sear the drumsticks in a hot skillet until golden brown on all sides. Lower the heat, cover, and cook until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) at its thickest part. Alternatively, finish cooking in a preheated oven. Set aside.
Step 3: Cook the pasta.
Boil the fettuccine in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve about ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
Step 4: Make the creamy sauce.
In the same skillet, melt the butter or heat the olive oil. Sauté the garlic until fragrant. Add the tomato paste, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, and Italian seasoning. Stir for about 30 seconds.
Step 5: Make it creamy.
Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Simmer gently for 3–5 minutes. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
Step 6: Combine everything.
Add the cooked fettuccine to the sauce and toss until every strand is coated. Add a little reserved pasta water if the sauce is too thick. Taste and adjust the seasoning.
Step 7: Serve and enjoy!
Place the creamy pasta on a serving plate and top with the golden-brown chicken drumsticks. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan.

The secret to the best flavor: Let the chicken develop a beautiful golden crust, and use freshly grated Parmesan for a silky, flavorful sauce!
