Emily Renee Barton
I am a mama to my Cerebral Palsy warrior, wife to a smokin' hot fireman, & boss babe who turned my passion into a successful business! Come enjoy the ride!
My goal here is to inspire you to be confident and bold in living out your journey as I share mine with you! Despite how people’s lives look on the internet, no one is perfect & there is such beauty in the imperfect if you allow yourself to see it.
15 hours of therapy this week 😮💨 Jax has been working hard in PT, Speech & Feeding with a smile on her face because she just loves her therapists! 🤩💚
Not your typical Mother’s Day brunch… 😅
But possibly might be my favorite one yet.
No cooking.
No cleaning.
Built-in entertainment for the kids.
I think the only thing missing was an afternoon nap!
Happy Mother’s Day Mamas! Best, hardest job in the world!

There are moments in motherhood that feel too big for words.
This is one of them.
9 years ago, we celebrated 15 steps with a walker.
Today, she’s running alongside her friends.
And somewhere in between…
there were prayers, unknowns, setbacks, growth, and more stretching than I could have ever imagined.
My prayer has always been simple:
God, please use every part of her story.
The pain, the progress, the waiting, the victories both past, present, and future.
If it could be a light for even one person…
If it could remind someone not to give up…
If it could help someone believe that progress is still possible—
then it’s worth it.
All of it.
If you are in a season that feels long, keep going 💚

Standing outside in a swimsuit… in the rain…
to prove a point 😅🌧️👙
You wouldn’t wear the wrong clothes for the weather—
so why are we doing that to our skin?
Your environment matters more than you think.
And once you understand that… skincare gets a whole lot simpler.
I’m officially in my climate curated skincare era and I’m not going back 🤍

Happy Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day
to the girl who changed my world 💚
You’ve brought a depth and meaning to our lives we never expected…
and now couldn’t imagine living without.
Watching you grow, adapt, and keep going—no matter what—has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.
You have come so far.
“I’m proud of you” don’t even begin to cover it.
Thank you to our community who has loved us, supported us, and walked alongside us through this journey. It means more than we could ever fully say.
We love you so much, Jax 💚
If you’re a mom, you know the mornings can be… a lot.
Most days I’m helping four kids get ready before I even think about myself.
So this is the 5-minute clean makeup routine I reach for when I want to look awake without spending forever in the mirror.
Nothing complicated.
Just a few products and five minutes.
Save this for the next time your morning feels chaotic and share it with a friend who needs a quick routine too. 💄🚌
Something I’ve noticed after 18 years in the beauty industry…
Most women sit in my chair and immediately start apologizing for their skin.
They point out their pores.
Their texture.
Their lines.
Meanwhile I’m sitting there thinking…
you actually have beautiful skin.
Somewhere along the way we started believing that beautiful skin means poreless, filtered, perfectly smooth.
But real skin has texture.
It has life.
It has history.
It tells a story.
And with the right skincare, good makeup techniques, and a little mindset shift… you could feel so much more confident in your own skin.
Not because it’s perfect.
But because it’s healthy, cared for, and it’s yours!
Tell me what is something you are self conscious about with your skin!? 💭💁🏼♀️
Not me giving a full car confessional about my armpits… but here we are.
If your pits are dramatic after shaving, I’ve been there. The Blue Tansy deodorant has officially restored peace in the underarm department.
Sensitive skin girls… this one’s good 💙

I’m a professional hairstylist, but real life doesn’t leave much time for my own hair.
Using professional tools at home matters—especially as our hair changes. Mineral-infused heat helps protect strands while creating curls that actually last.
Good hair. Minimal effort.

Whoever is raising this compassionate young man— thank you.
Thank you for teaching empathy, encouragement, and seeing others for who they are.
This Valentine is a reminder that inclusion doesn’t just support kids with disabilities —
it shapes kinder humans. 💕💚💚💚
