At first glance, it looks like AI replaces 38 jobs.
But what if thatās the wrong comparison?
If you reinvest the same $2 million into AI-sized productions instead of making one film, you could fund 10 projects.
Thatās:
* 10 productions
* 120 people employed (12 people Ć 10 projects)
* About 10Ć more content created
The question isnāt just āHow many jobs does AI eliminate?ā
It might also be:
āWhat happens if increased productivity allows us to make ten times as many creative projects?ā
Of course, thereās a catch: this only works if thereās enough audience demand and companies actually reinvest the savings into new productions instead of keeping the difference.
I donāt think the future is simply āAI replaces artists.ā I think itās more complicated than that.
Also, if for example, 60% of the budget went to labor:
* Labor budget = $120,000
* $120,000 Ć· 12 = $10,000 per person over 2ā2.5 weeks.
What do you think?

Apple quietly added a feature to millions of iPhones years before most people have a way to use it.
Itās called Spatial Video.
At first, it seems like a gimmick. But the more I researched it, the more I realized it may be preparing us for the next generation of storytelling.
Every major leap in camera technology has changed the way we create artāfrom film to digital cameras to smartphones. Spatial Video could be the next step.
One day, creators may record tutorials, performances, documentaries, and memories as immersive experiences instead of flat videos.
Weāre not fully there yet.
But thatās what makes this moment so interesting.
What do you think? Is Spatial Video just another forgotten iPhone feature⦠or are we looking at the beginning of the next evolution in content creation?

Juneās photo dump: My friends have recently said to me āYouāre glowingā⦠but a few years ago, I was carrying a lot of career disappointment, grief from losing lovers and friends, and uncertainty. I spent so much time trying to force doors open that werenāt meant for me that I forgot what it felt like to simply be at peace.
This month reminded me what happens when you stop chasing what isnāt yours and start walking toward what is.
I got to attend AWE and meet people using technology to build real-world community. I reconnected with friends and collaborators from around the world. I attended creator events, tested new cameras, met inspiring storytellers, and continued growing as a YouTube creator after years of showing up and believing the work would eventually matter.
But the biggest change wasnāt professional.
It was internalā¦so, Iāve been learning that happiness is a choice. And its HARD to do. It doesnāt always come naturally⦠but if pay attention, youāll start noticing things: people, places, and opportunities that align with who you are becoming and the invitation to step into it.
Iāve also been rediscovering my faith and finding peace in places I never expected. Looking back, I can see that every chapterāeven the confusing onesāwere leading somewhere. Every wrong turn taught me something I needed to know.
Healthy change doesnt mean rejecting everything that came before, but integrating it. The gift, I suppose, is that I woke up today and Iām still writing this story. š¤
