Who remembers Fifth Harmony?
Throwback to when I was hired to style Fifth Harmony before their concert in San Jose. I was able to bring along some of my amazing students to assist. My career has allowed me to do some amazing things in my life. All of those experiences have shaped my passion as an educator. Passion I bring with me to as the Services District Educator for West Los Angeles.

This week we lost two icons to mental health disorders. Mental Health has become something we have to be aware of in our current society of disconnection. As technological connection has become more present in our everyday world human connection has become less present. When someone suffers from mental disorders it is often hard or even impossible for them to know who they can talk to, open up to or trust. We need to take the time to forge real genuine connections and reach out to our friends and families with love and compassion. As someone who has suffered with this debilitating disease I know first hand how hard it is to admit, to talk about, to not feel ashamed of feeling weak, to not feel like you are letting yourself down. But know that we all have our struggles and demons. If you ever need someone to talk to, that has gone through what you have, to forge a genuine connection with someone that cares, please reach out to me or your friends and family.
Had an amazing time facilitating my color class this past Monday. We utilized clay lightener to learn to achieve a rooted platinum card, and shampoo and conditioner to tone the canvas, to create and then play around with pixelation and fashion shadow root. Thank you to all the future professionals and salon professionals that attended and made my day amazing!
