Redefining how we relate to, connect with, and train our animal companions.

PRANA [prah-nah]: the energy connecting all elements of the universe
Energy connects us all, and whether in the context of traditional dog obedience training or communicating with your animal companion, energy matters. The most basic and primal way to communicate with each other, and especially with our pets, is energetically, but somewhere along the way it seem

Learning to be a leader on leash requires us to change how we perceive our strengths, weaknesses, and personal power.
And it can often trigger in us a pattern of seeking personal power more broadly in our lives, such as how much control we try to have over our day to day and relationships.
Our pets remind us that the only thing worth trying to control in any situation -- and one of the most powerful training tools -- is our breath. So breathe in, breathe out, and relax. Your pup will follow suit, and it will make for a more calm and enjoyable walk.

Whether it’s starting better habits on a Monday, setting greater intentions during a Full Moon, or turning over a new leaf on New Year’s Day, life provides built-in moments for us to recalibrate our goals and expectations.
⠀⠀
Leveraging that same mindset with your pet can help with training. Whether it’s setting the expectation that this walk will be more peaceful with your reactive pup or that today’s independence training exercise will go more smoothly, treat each training opportunity as a clean slate.
Releasing past expectations and outcomes can help give your pet the energetic support he or she needs to shift through a challenging behavior.
⠀⠀
What recalibration are you hoping for today?

Our pets are all ears.
All too often we focus our communication with our pets around times they are making less than desirable choices.
Constant feedback is important during training, so just as often as you ask your furry friend to “make a better decision,” always calmly let your pup know when he or she is doing a good job with a calm “Good choice.”
And remember that nonverbal feedback is equally important and informative to our pets, as our energy speaks volumes.

Space is the most loving gift you can give your furry friend.
⠀⠀
If your pup is either overly excited by or fearful of a trigger like a bike or other dogs, give him or her a little space. Allow your pup to get reacquainted with the sight of the trigger at a safe distance, reward their willingness with a delicious treat, and then walk in the other direction.
Over time you can practice getting incrementally closer and interacting for longer periods of time, always keeping the experience as stress-free as possible for your pup.

Our pets tend to be the ones that know us best, because we never hold any pretenses around them.
They know us at our most joyful, at our most vulnerable, and the entire gamut in between.

Jumping. Barking. Nipping.
These aren’t “bad behaviors.” They’re unfiltered communication.
Most unwanted behaviors show up when a dog:
• lacks clear boundaries
• is overstimulated
• or is trying to regulate energy through interaction
Instead of suppressing behavior, we focus on understanding it first, and then redirecting it clearly and consistently.
In this course, you’ll learn:
✔ how to identify the cause behind behavior
✔ how to stop reinforcing what you don’t want
✔ how to redirect calmly and effectively
✔ how your own energy affects your dog’s behavior
Because behavior isn’t random. It’s responsive.

Housebreaking issues are rarely just about timing or “accidents.”
They usually come down to structure, clarity, and consistency in the environment.
When our furry friends have accidents, it is often because:
~ freedom is introduced too quickly
~ routines are not yet predictable
~ signals are not consistent
The goal isn’t control. It’s clarity.
In this course, you’ll learn:
✔ how to build a clear housebreaking structure
✔ how to use confinement without stress
✔ what to do after accidents without confusion
✔ how to create consistency that actually sticks
