I had a special friend drop in on my morning meditation. It’s going to be a good day.

After attending the live Progressive Retreat with Dr. Joe Dispenza this past weekend, it has taken me two full days to process the wealth of information and experience I encountered. As a devoted follower of Dr. Joe for over 14 years, I’ve watched his teachings evolve from what many labeled as pseudo-science into a framework now well-supported by scientific evidence. The idea that meditation can heal is no longer a fringe belief but a recognized truth.

For those unfamiliar with Dr. Joe Dispenza, he is a neurologist who experienced paralysis following a car accident. Utilizing his profound understanding of the brain’s functions, he embarked on a transformative journey to heal himself. The results are not just anecdotal; there are thousands of testimonies from individuals who have experienced profound healing and transformation through his methods. This is not about simplistic notions like “say Jesus and you walk” (no offense intended). Dr. Joe presents concise, research-backed facts demonstrating how our bodies possess innate healing capabilities—something remarkable to ponder considering we only utilize about 5% of our brain’s potential.

One teaching that has resonated with me for years is the concept that “where you put your attention is where you put your energy.” Hearing him articulate this in person was a pivotal moment for me. It powerfully underscored the idea that if you operate from a mindset of scarcity, that is precisely what you will manifest in your life. Conversely, adopting an abundance mindset attracts abundance. Gratitude, as Dr. Joe emphasized, serves as the vital conduit facilitating this abundance.

As I face a few challenges in the weeks ahead, I am profoundly grateful for the opportunity and means to participate in this transformative experience. This retreat has not only reaffirmed my beliefs but has also equipped me with tools and insights to navigate upcoming obstacles with a renewed sense of purpose and a positive mindset. I am excited to apply these teachings and continue my journey of personal growth and healing.
