When life hands you a dancing gorilla, go bananas! 🦍🍌

Here I am in Vegas, minding my own business, when this gorilla came out swinging… his hips 🕺!

Now you know me, if I'm challenged to a dance battle, I'm going for the gold! 🏅

I got in my cardio and had a huge boost of endorphins from laughing so much!

It was a fun and easy way to get in a workout, because even if a gorilla starts it - I’m your girl - I will finish it and your health still counts it! 🤙

If midlife has your mind doing cartwheels, you are not alone. 🤸‍♀️

Hot flashes, mood swings, and everybody needing something from you can make you feel like you’re emotionally tumbling through your day.

Midlife brings real changes to your mental health, and you do not have to pretend they are easy, but you do need to do something about them before you flip! 💥

Supporting your mental health starts with some habits:

💪 Move your body daily
🥗 Eat a brain-healthy diet
💛 Stay socially connected
🧘‍♀️ Practice mindfulness meditation
🗣️ Ask for support when you need it

I also recommend setting boundaries that prioritize your peace. Cut out the drama, the negativity, and protect your energy.

A healthy mind is a big part of a healthy body. Your peace is non-negotiable for your health sake.

Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads who show up. 💙

Today, I want to celebrate the men who know that “Daddy” is so much more than just a name. A father may help bring you into this world, but a daddy helps shape who you become once you get here.

To the Dads who lead with love, stay consistent, give the pep talks, the hugs that fix an entire day, and the advice we pretend not to need but carry with us forever, thank you. Thank you for helping your children feel seen, supported, safe, and loved.

I especially want to wish a Happy Father’s Day to my own Dad, the man who showed me what a father is supposed to look like. Thank you, Daddy, for your support and life lessons.

And today, I also want to recognize the single mothers who have had to be both parents, as well as those who struggle with this day because of an absent father. You deserve love and recognition, too. I see you, and I honor your strength.

Here’s to the men who love loudly, lead wisely, laugh often, and always answer the phone when you call.

Happy Juneteenth! Keep rising. ❤️💛💚

Juneteenth commemorates the day freedom finally reached enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, 2.5 years after the Emancipation Proclamation. It is an important reminder that freedom does not always arrive easily, evenly, or even soon enough.

Juneteenth honors a painful history, but it also celebrates the joy that grew in the face of that pain. It shows that even in the darkest times, hope and FAITH is more powerful than power.

Honor the truth of slavery, but do not stop at sorrow. Get out and celebrate the freedoms that so many never had. Share your favorite family recipe at the BBQ, jump in on the Electric Slide, and just get out and feel the joy of community move through you.

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, except my step count 👟😂

Even in Sin City, vacations do not have to throw your health off track.

I recently hit the streets of Vegas, I explored a little and danced a lot! What looks like partying, definitely was partying! It was also healthy cardio!

When you make smart decisions, you can have a great time on vacation without losing track of your fitness goals.

Every day I was in Vegas, I surpassed my daily step count, and I was having so much fun that I didn’t even notice! 💃✨

Are you feeling invisible since you hit midlife? Good.

So many women hit their 40s or 50s and feel like the world suddenly stops paying attention. I know it sounds wild, but that is the best news of your life.

Sure, it stings, but it is also a sign you are about to have a big life come up. When you look past the loss, you see that you are completely free.

Free from other people’s expectations.
Free from constantly performing.
Free from waiting for permission.

You’re now free to completely reinvent yourself and live as authentically as possible. The best part is that you have a lifetime of knowledge backing you up.

Ask yourself what you really want from your life and how you can support your mind, body, and spirit to get it.

Midlife just entered its SIX-PACK era… and women over 40 are showing UP. 🔥💪

Forget the old rules about aging gracefully.
We’re aging POWERFULLY.

More women in midlife are building strong, sexy cores and proving that abs are NOT just for 20-year-olds. 👏

Want to know the truth?
Six-pack abs in midlife are less about perfection…and more about consistency, discipline, and self-love. ❤️

Here’s what helped me build mine:
✨ Strength training 3–4x a week
✨ Prioritizing protein
✨ Daily walks/cardio
✨ Whole, nutrient-dense foods
✨ Cutting back on alcohol & sugary drinks
✨ Sleeping 7–9 hours
✨ Core training
✨ Staying hydrated

But the REAL secret?
Consistency when you don’t feel motivated.

Now I want to hear from YOU 👇

What’s harder in midlife:
🔥 Staying consistent with workouts
OR
🍽️ Staying consistent with nutrition?

Comment “WORKOUTS” or “NUTRITION” below!

And if you want me to share exactly how I built my abs after 40, drop a 🔥 in the comments.

The hardest part of staying on track to your fitness goals is not the delicious, healthy diet or the fun, endorphin-boosting workouts. The hardest part is getting yourself to start when life is messy or you don’t feel confident.

On those days, you need to show up anyway.

Maybe you only do a few reps. Maybe you take a walk. Maybe you skip that sugary snack your stress is saying you want.

Progress can only happen when you stop waiting for the perfect time to start and give yourself a real chance at achieving your goals.

Just remember…You do not need to “feel ready” to begin. 🔥💪

Still want to hit those year-end goals? Summer is your reset button. ☀️ This is your Midyear checkup, baby!

A lot of my clients start their year off strong, but then stress, busy schedules, and old habits knock them off their game.

If you’re like them, there’s no better time to glow up under the summer sun. The sunny weather makes it easy to get outside, get moving, and get back on track to achieving your goals.

Doesn’t matter your age or where you are in your fitness journey. You have the power to change your life for good. Commit to yourself, and you’ll thank yourself when you’re ringing in 2027.
