If you’ve been around for a while, you know I have a soft spot for antiques. I love objects with stories. Books that have traveled through generations. Jewelry that has celebrated countless milestones. Furniture that has quietly witnessed decades of life. There’s something incredibly comforting about giving these pieces a new home and continuing their story. Everything gets a thorough energetic clearing before it comes through our front door, of course.

SEXOND SIGHT 👁️ 7/13-7/19
Happy Monday, Friends.

I’ve been thinking about how interesting it is that we don’t always recognize change while we’re living through it.

Sometimes we notice it afterward.

A year later we realize we’re reading different books. Listening to different music. Asking different questions. Spending time with different people. The things that once felt important no longer carry the same energy, while entirely new interests begin making themselves known.

I see this often in sessions.

Someone will mention, almost in passing, that they suddenly feel drawn to herbalism, watercolor painting, mythology, or learning a language they have never studied before. Another person realizes they haven’t watched television in months because all they want to do is spend time in the garden.

I always find these moments fascinating.

Our lives are constantly changing, and our interests often change alongside us.

The Seeker reminds me that growth doesn’t always arrive with grand announcements. Sometimes it quietly reshapes what feels nourishing, inspiring, and alive.

As we move through July together, I invite you to spend some time noticing what currently feels alive in your life.

Perhaps it is something completely new. Perhaps it is something you’ve loved for years that suddenly feels important again.

Either way, trust it.

You may discover that your life is already telling a story you haven’t fully noticed yet.

SPIRIT GUIDE THERAPY UPDATE 🔊
For years, one-time Spirit Therapy sessions have been the doorway into this work.

They’ve introduced me to thousands of people and allowed me to witness some of the most beautiful conversations between people and their Spirit Guides.

As the years have gone on, something has become incredibly clear.
The Guides don’t wish to work in isolated moments.
They want to build relationships.

I’ve watched them walk beside people through births, grief, illness, new beginnings, heartbreak, healing, and extraordinary moments of becoming. That’s a very different kind of work than a single session can hold.

As Spirit Therapy continues to grow, I know where my energy is being called. I want to spend more time creating spaces where those conversations can continue over months and years. It’s the direction this work has been leading me for a long time.

So… this may be one of the last seasons I offer single sessions.

Ever since The Seeker stepped forward for July, I have found myself thinking about fascination and the strange things that capture our attention throughout our lives.

One of my favorite parts of sitting with people year after year is watching what lights them up. Someone comes into a session wanting guidance about a relationship and before long we’re talking about birds, ancient civilizations, heirloom tomatoes, genealogy, herbalism, perfume making, or a country they’ve suddenly become fascinated by.

Over the years, I have learned not to dismiss those moments.
I have watched people reconnect with joy, purpose, family history, creativity, and even grief through interests that initially seemed unrelated to the reason they booked a session in the first place.

Sometimes the thing itself isn’t really the point.
The person researching their ancestors may be searching for belonging. The gardener may be creating a quiet place to process loss. The person collecting antiques may be preserving stories.

Curiosity has always felt like one of Spirit’s love languages to me….

JULY DOWNLOAD ✨
July always feels expansive to me. Summer is fully awake. Gardens are overflowing, people are traveling, gatherings spill out onto patios, and the world itself feels a little more open.

This month, the Spirit Guide stepping forward from the Spirit Guide Portal Oracle Deck is The Seeker.

While channeling this Spirit Guide’s specific story and messages, I was shown a memory the spirits childhood.

The Seeker spoke about spending hours digging holes with friends in hopes of reaching another world. Deep down, they knew they would never actually find a new physical world, but that never stopped them from trying.

I have always loved that story. The drive to DISCOVER. The CURIOSITY AROUND THE UNKNOWN.

July feels like the perfect month to reconnect with that sense of curiosity.

Joy and curiosity are close companions. When we are joyful, we become more available to surprise, discovery, and possibility. We try the new restaurant, wander through the antique store we normally drive past, book the trip we’ve been dreaming about, or finally say yes to something that has quietly been calling to us.

The Seeker reminds us that curiosity is often one of the ways Spirit communicates with us.

An excerpt from this weeks substack THE EDGE 🚪

There are people reading this who already understand what part of their life is asking to grow.

You may already feel where certain conversations remain unresolved or where your energy keeps returning to creative ideas, desires, or futures that still feel deeply alive despite every attempt to dismiss them.

You may also recognize that some environments, relationships, or identities no longer reflect the person you are becoming, even if part of you is still emotionally attached to the familiarity of them.

The difficult part is not always uncertainty.
Sometimes it is realizing that remaining where you are has started costing more energy than moving forward.

My Guides keep emphasizing that many people have spent years standing at the edge of their own lives waiting to feel fully ready before stepping further in.

Summer does not feel interested in readiness.
It feels interested in participation.
