Cold vs Hot Showers 🚿 Which is better?
Cold water immersion has numerous benefits including reducing inflammation but that is not a good thing post work out.
A 2019 study found that participants gained less muscle over 7 weeks when they had cold-water immersion post workout. Cold therapy after training impairs the anabolic signaling that is required for optimal muscle growth.
Instead, research suggests heat therapy post workout is better. You can use a sauna or just take a warm shower.

A father’s touch in the very first moments of life may be more powerful than most people realize. 🤍
Skin-to-skin contact after birth isn’t just emotional… it can help a newborn feel calmer, safer, and more connected.
When a baby rests on their father’s chest, their tiny body begins responding to warmth, heartbeat, and familiar sounds. Many studies suggest this may support bonding, reduce stress, encourage better sleep, and even help soothe crying in those first precious hours.
And it’s not only beneficial for the baby…
Fathers often experience a deep emotional connection during skin-to-skin contact too. It can increase feelings of attachment, confidence, and closeness right from day one.
These early moments matter more than people think.
Sometimes the most healing thing for a newborn isn’t technology, noise, or stimulation…
it’s simply being held. 👶🏻✨
The pelvic floor is made up of some muscles isolated to the pelvis for urinary, bowel, and sexual function, but it is also plays a role in hip movements - many of these muscles can be stretched and massaged from the outside as shown in these videos. You can massage the pelvic floor muscles with an internal massage (preferably done by a pelvic PT first before you do it yourself- they can teach you how to use a wand to self-massage at home). Both sexes can do this.

When doing these massages and stretches, it is important to fully relax into your pelvic floor by taking deep breaths down into the belly - thinking about drawing the breath down into the pelvis and allowing the muscles to lengthen, drop, expand, and stretch.
If you would like us to touch on how to properly strengthen the pelvic floor, let us know in the comments below. Many people know how to do a kegel, but doing a kegel without first learning how to fully relax can create some problems for both sexes. Kegels are a useful tool for many but they aren’t enough on their own for most.

Blending and creates a hydrating, fiber-rich drink packed with vitamins, antioxidants, and digestive enzymes that may help support healthy digestion and gut function.
Cucumber is naturally high in water and refreshing compounds that support hydration and digestive regularity.
Good hydration helps the digestive system move waste more efficiently through the intestines.
Pineapple contains bromelain, a natural enzyme studied for its role in supporting digestion and reducing inflammation.
It may help the body break down proteins more effectively and support digestive comfort after meals.
The fiber and water combination can help support regular bowel movements.
This may help the body naturally eliminate waste and maintain a healthier digestive environment.
The body already has its own detox systems.
The liver, kidneys, intestines, and digestive tract constantly work to process and remove waste naturally, while nutrient-rich foods help support those systems.

Studies suggest that chronic financial stress may negatively impact heart health even more than some traditional physical risk factors.
Research in cardiovascular science shows that ongoing financial pressure keeps the body in a prolonged stress state. This leads to elevated stress hormones, poor sleep quality, higher blood pressure, and increased inflammation - all of which are linked to long-term heart issues.
Findings indicate that sustained
money-related stress can significantly increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, highlighting that heart health is influenced not only by diet and exercise, but also by emotional and social conditions.
When the mind remains under constant financial threat, the body responds accordingly - and the heart is often one of the most affected organs.

The first years of life are a critical window for brain development.
By around age 2–3, the brain has already reached a large portion of its adult size, with rapid growth in neural connections, myelination, and synapse formation happening during this period.
Nutrition plays a foundational role in this process.
The developing brain requires specific nutrients to build structure, support signaling, and protect against oxidative stress.
Key nutrients include:
Iron – supports oxygen delivery and cognitive development
DHA (omega-3) – essential for brain structure and neuron function
Choline – critical for memory formation and brain cell integrity
Zinc – supports growth and neural communication
Iodine – essential for thyroid hormones that regulate brain development
Deficiencies during this stage can affect learning, attention, and long-term cognitive outcomes, which is why early nutrition is so important.
