I think about skincare the same way.

As a formulator, I choose ingredients for the result I want, then test how they work together. More actives can mean more irritation or a less stable formula.
The best ingredient list isn’t the longest one. It’s the one where every ingredient has a purpose. 🤍

One of skincare’s biggest myths: hot water opens your pores and cold water closes them. 🚿
Warm water can help loosen oil while you cleanse. Cold water may make your skin feel tighter for a moment. But your pores aren’t opening and shutting with the temperature.

Who else was taught to finish washing their face with cold water to “close” their pores? 👀
