Y’all might not believe this transformation I put on my friend Jace Dakota. I could tell he was maybe slightly apprehensive when I ran that number one blade up the back of his head and a huge chunk of hair fell in his lap. but as the haircut went on, he looked like he kinda liked it. I like the style because it has some options. You can do a more formal style with a side part and some pomade or add some texture to it as we have done here. There was an insanely handsome dude under that mop, don’t you think?!

Let’s take a barbershop journey together! I’m working on a new piece to show how different haircuts can work with different features. You’ll get four or five different cuts, complementary styling product to support the final style we end up with, and some professional photos of each haircut. And it’s all on me. You just have to be open minded and ready for a big change. PM me for the free booking link.

Sometimes, I f**k up in brilliant ways. My friend Jared came back for a touchup on his Ivy League with about a #2 on the sides. We started chatting about music and before you knew it I picked up the trimmer and ran it all the way up the back of his head. “Sh*t. You weren’t getting a skin fade were you?” “Nope.” “Well, you are now!” Another high fade crew cut, number one at the Crown and gradually getting a little longer at the front. Enough shape so it’s still fashionable, but super low maintenance and very cool for summer. This is the perfect summer cut. Happy accidents and s**t.

My favorite Atlanta “power couple” and Look at these two cuties mean mugging with their fresh fades.

My favorite haircut of the day was for Colin Smith. Colin has this super thick head of dark, straight hair. Last time, I suggested we do a skin fade for his next cut. Today, he sat down and said, “Do what you think is best,” so I f**ked that s**t up. And by that, I mean we gave him a high skin fade, buzzed short at the crown and longer at the front. This classic, aggressive Ivy League is maybe my favorite cut. It’s cool for summer, super low maintenance, and (gasp) masculine. He’s taking that handsome face to the beach this weekend, so if he doesn’t get laid with this haircut, I’ve wasted my damn time!

I love a good summer cut! This time I took matters into my own hands and gave myself a high skin fade. The top is cut in a very short Ivy League, which is basically a freehand buzz cut that gets a little bit longer at the front. It’s the perfect haircut for staying cool and riding around with the top down on the Jeep. It’s a little more sophisticated than just your average one guard all over a buzz cut.

I’ve been cutting for several years - he’s a funny guy and master of impressions. And I’m not sure if he knows how handsome he is. Ethan has fought his curly hair for years, and I think he’s finally embracing his curl. This low fade is perfect for that — short and cool for the summer, but long enough to showcase the curly hair on top. Rizz ‘em with the ‘tism, Ethan!!

It’s that time of year! Rather than take matters into your own hands, but your buzz done by a professional who will know how to shape it to maximize your face and head shape and give you a clean finish. My buzzcuts are half the cost of my regular haircuts because they are quick and easy. And I just love doing them. Book your spot!

I don’t cut my own hair very often, but I’ve done it a few times lately and actually kind of enjoy it. Of course it’s not as easy as cutting somebody else’s hair, but oddly, I find it somewhat relaxing. Since like most people who are in the entertainment industry, my career seems to be somewhat on hold, I decided to go super short this time. High fade, with a number one blade at the crown and gradually getting a little bit longer towards the front… classic crew cut which is perfect for summer and riding around in the Jeep with the top down. This is also a good haircut for guys like me who have a receding hairline and maybe thinning at the Crown a little bit. The rule of thumb is that if you start to see some scalp exposure on top, cut the sides as short as you can get away with and it makes it look like you have more hair.

My friend Sammy has been going through some life changes lately, so we decided to give him a little “reset” for his haircut, too. Mid skin fade with a side part. Classic and handsome as f**k. What do you think?
Sometimes, something as simple as a haircut and freshen your perspective and make you feel brand new.

Jase is back and I love the way this “mullet hawk” is evolving. Jase is not a fussy guy when it comes to styling and is often content with washing with a quick towel dry and pat down. So, the style needs to look cool and quirky to suit his personality, but still be super easy. So we’ve gone shorter on the top with a more blunt bang. All this cut needs to look great is a little sea salt spray and a good shake. From the front, it’s a fairly straightforward looking Caesar cut, but then BAM! — you catch a glimpse of that mullet flowing down the back! Good s**t.

It’s Fresh Fade Friday! My friend/client Mikey I started growing his hair out for a while, but it really just wasn’t him so back to the low skin fade with a classic side part it is! Mikey () is a kick ass massage therapist, so give him a follow and let him bring those tired muscles back to life.
