👁️ Why Your Eyes May Feel Tired at the End of the Day
Your eyes can feel tired after prolonged reading, screen use, or other visually demanding activities. Comfortable lighting and regular breaks can make everyday tasks easier.
Try:
• Using comfortable, even lighting
• Taking regular breaks during long screen sessions
• Looking into the distance periodically
• Adjusting text size when reading
• Keeping screens at a comfortable distance
If eye discomfort, persistent blurry vision, or other symptoms continue, ask an eye care professional for advice.

👁️ MYTH: Carrots Are All Your Eyes Need
Your eyes need good nutrition just like the rest of your body. No single food can guarantee perfect vision, but a varied, balanced diet can support overall and eye health.
Consider including:
• Dark leafy greens such as spinach and kale
• Fish such as salmon, tuna, or halibut
• A variety of colorful fruits and vegetables
• Other nutrient-rich whole foods as part of a balanced diet
Healthy eating can also support conditions such as healthy blood pressure and blood sugar, which matter for eye health.
Think variety, not a miracle food.

👁️ Do You See These Spots or Floaters?
Floaters can become more common as we age, and a few stable floaters are often not a serious problem. The important issue is a sudden change.
Get prompt attention if you notice:
• A sudden increase in floaters
• Flashes of light
• A dark curtain or shadow
• A sudden blurry area in your vision
• Sudden changes after an eye injury
These symptoms can be associated with a retinal tear or retinal detachment. Retinal detachment is an emergency because delayed treatment can lead to permanent vision loss.
