Kat McKyle Esthetics & Permanent Cosmetics

I began this journey with a concentration on skin care and cosmetics, which led to working all over the country with musicians from Glam Rock, Country, Pop all the way to Doom Metal. While traveling the country I also began doing ads and photoshoots, which included me on hair. The road traveled led to many commercials, theatre, stage performers, fashion and runway shows and even many films (including special FX make up). I have written and still write for multiple beauty blogs, and randomly guest for Cosmo. I have been very blessed to say the least and in almost 20 years I can say the best look for most faces is simplicity and to always wear moisturizer with a spf! When not on location or traveling from set to stages I am a Master Stylist, Colorist, and Make Up Artist at the salon. As much as I love traveling with work, I also love being behind the chair spending one on one time with my guests, pampering them and making them feel beautiful. I have worked with Aveda, Estee Lauder, Chanel, Joe Blasco, Christian Dior, Benefit, Paul Mitchell, Redken, and TIGI. In my spare time I enjoy a quick weekend away at my family cabin stowed away deep in the woods, random adventures hiking, Chicago, and relaxing with my children (and metal shows).
