While thermal packaging and ice packs are available as preventive measures, utilizing them would substantially raise shipping costs—nearly doubling the price of the tallow itself.

Unfortunately, this means our shipping window is closing rapidly. If you're located outside of Lubbock and would like to receive tallow for the summer months, please reach out within the next couple of weeks to ensure timely delivery!

I’m so excited to finally offer a Magnesium Tallow! Now available in two options:

🌙 Bedtime Balm – infused with lavender essential oil to help calm the senses and support restful sleep

Most people are magnesium deficient and don’t even know it! Magnesium can help with muscle and joint pain when applied topically, but one of my favorite benefits is how much it helps with sleep. I’ve been using it on my kids and have noticed a huge improvement in how quickly they fall asleep—if you have littles, trust me, this is a game changer!

✨I’m also thrilled to introduce a highly requested new scent: Bergamot & Lime 🍋‍🟩 — a fresh citrus blend that not only smells amazing but also soothes and rejuvenates the skin. This is a great option for anyone who struggles with acne!

All three of these new products will be available at the Wolfforth Farmers Market this Saturday! I tend to sell out quickly (a blessing and a challenge 😅), so I’m opening up early order requests to make sure you don’t miss out. If you want any of these new options just shoot me a message!

EDIT: The last of the vanilla patchouli has been sold! If this is a scent that you love- you can easily make it on your own! Just purchase a plain vanilla tallow and add some of your own Patchouli oil directly to the jar😊

The good news is that I will be adding a new scent AND a magnesium tallow within the next month🥳
The sad news is that in order to help maintain supplies for the top sellers, I’m bumping off my least popular scent- Vanilla Patchouli.

Hi, I’m Lauren, the proud owner of Chubby Cow Tallow! I’m a stay-at-home mom to two energetic little boys and excited to welcome our baby girl this summer. My husband and I have been married for 7 1/2 years. He is the rock of our family and my absolute best friend! I work one day a week as a nurse, but my heart is truly at home with my family.

My journey into tallow started out of necessity. My oldest son has battled severe eczema his whole life, and after trying everything—only prescription strength steroid creams provided relief. I didn’t want to rely on steroids, so I discovered the incredible benefits of tallow, and it’s been a game-changer for his skin. I’ll never use anything else!

When I realized how pricey quality tallow products could be, I decided to make it myself—offering a natural, non-toxic moisturizer for families like mine at a more affordable price. Tallow is full of Vitamins A, D, E , and K which give it natural anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties. ✨

Using grass-fed and finished beef suet, I render the fat down using the wet render method to remove odors and ensure purity. I then whip it and add a touch of vitamin E oil for a smoother finish. For a lovely scent, I use doTERRA essential oils—but I also offer an unscented option for those who prefer it.

This is just one reason why I will always be such an advocate for tallow- whether you buy from me or not. This is my almost 3 year old son and tallow is my number 1 trusted skin care product for his eczema. After just ONE night of putting tallow on his face and look at the improvement!🤩
