Can we talk about something real for a second? I keep hearing people say “I’m just gonna leave it to God” when it comes to their health. And I get it - faith is important. Prayer is powerful. I believe that.
But “leaving it to God” while you’re eating processed food, not taking care of your body, refusing to do the work, and expecting a miracle is not faith. It’s abdication of responsibility.
God gave you a body with the ability to heal itself. He gave you access to minerals, real food, and knowledge. He gave you free will to make choices. Faith without works is dead.
You can pray all you want, but if you’re eating McDonald’s every day, drinking soda, taking cheap synthetic supplements that don’t absorb, staying up until 2 AM scrolling your phone, and ignoring your body’s warning signs - your body isn’t going to heal.
God helps those who help themselves. That means: putting real food in your body (not processed garbage), getting quality minerals and supplements (not Dollar Store vitamins), sleeping 7-8 hours, moving your body, managing stress, actually doing the work.
You can’t out-pray a bad diet. You can’t out-faith chronic dehydration. You can’t “leave it to God” while actively destroying your body and expect Him to fix it for you.
Healing requires partnership - you do your part, God does His. Your part is showing up every single day and giving your body what it needs. God’s part is the miracle of your body’s innate ability to heal when you get out of its way. But you have to do YOUR part first.
Stop using “I’m leaving it to God” as an excuse to stay comfortable and avoid the hard work of actually healing. God gave you everything you need. Now use it. 💜

Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is step back, get quiet, and take care of yourself without explaining it to everybody.
