Adding a subtle but bright color to your hair can be a great way to have some fun with it! The BEST THING about adding a fashion color to your hair is they can be SEMI PERMANENT!

WHAT IS SEMI PERMANENT COLOR you ask?? It means it will eventually fade/wash out after a while (depending on frequency of shampoos/cold water/etc.)

Spring doesn't always mean we need to lighten up. EVERYONE is different! This gorgeous new mommy was ready for a "Flip" and wanted a rich chocolate brown to freshen her up.

She is beautiful with any color but this chocolate brown is perfect!

RECONSTRUCTION...

Not a word I normally use in my hair posts, but this was a Reconstruction from what the client came in with.

This client came to me for help after her hair was butchered! (Yes, butchered by a "cheap, walk in hair salon") I won't say where, but I didn't expect it to be this bad. I was almost speechless for the first few minutes because I thought there is no way a "licensed hairstylist" would allow there client to leave looking like this. Apparently, it happened. I saw the proof. 💥😭

Not one piece of her hair was the same length at all. There were chunks missing, chunks hanging out and chunks that laid there with no point at all. 😒🙊😰

I finally was able to get her blended and to look like an actual style. 😳🙄

Listen, I don't care if you don't want to come see me and pay my price's that is fine! But please understand, when you go to the "walk in, cheap, no customer service having spots" be prepared to leave unhappy. There are some stylists who only work for that hourly check. They don't care about long term, return clients.

Please be wise in choosing where you go to and who does your hair. I was able to blend this hair and make it work. It won't always happen that way.

I recently had the privilege of taking a class by all about balayage! When I say this class was the BEST, I'm so serious!! I love taking educational classes and learning as much as I can. This class was so informative, fun and inspiring. I can only hope to be as great as one day! If you want to learn about balayage you need to follow her!

I'm here to share with you MY HAIR PROCESS!! These pics are from left to right my hair today and my hair 2 years ago! I loved my burgundy hair color and I kept it refreshed ALL the time. It was great while I had it, BUT after I decided I wanted to go to a lighter color even I had no clue what a process it was about to be!

Even as a hairstylist myself, I am here to tell you TRUST THE PROCESS!!! I have been annoyed, frustrated, and even thought of putting burgundy back on it! SERIOUSLY??!!!

It takes an extremely long time to lift those tones off EACH strand of hair! It doesn't come off instantly with bleach! I used ALL professional products and it is still that difficult! I went from traffic cone orange to as of today platinum blonde in most of my hair! I still have a few stubborn hairs that like gold they want to SHINE bright, but that's ok!

So imagine if you use box dye from your grocery store! It isn't professional and has many other chemicals that can cause more damage! When we as stylists ask you our wonderful clients to TRUST US AND THE PROCESS, please listen!! You will get there one day!!
