Yes! It makes complete sense - the process of makeup is as transformative for the actor as it is for the artist!

Stellan Skarsgård chose traditional makeup over motion capture for Pirates of the Caribbean!

While the other actors had motion-capture dots applied in minutes, Skarsgård spent around six hours in makeup. He said he preferred seeing the artists bring the character to life. 🎨

"Everyone on that ship showed up 5 mins
before we started shooting & had dots put on
their face & away they went. I had been there
for 6 hours. But the thing is, I like to see the
artists paint, if that makes sense."

We’re currently just waiting on our final Board of Cosmetology inspection, which we anticipate will take place within the next week or two. While we wait for that final step, we’re making sure every last detail is finished to perfection.

Our professional products are officially in-house and the finishing touches are coming together beautifully.

I made the *slight* mistake of testing it out while setting everything up. I told myself, “I’ll just try it for 15 minutes.”

BIG MISTAKE!!!!

Fifteen minutes later, I was so relaxed that I was basically useless for the rest of the day.

So consider that your official warning: these chairs are dangerous. In the best possible way.
