Lord Jesus, we thank You for today, for everything within this past year, and for everything in the days ahead in this new year 2022.

Forgiving makes way for new blessings, so we ask forgiveness and release for all those that we have have hurt or wounded, knowingly and unknowingly. And we forgive and release all those who have hurt or wounded me, knowingly and unknowingly. Help us Jesus, to no longer hurt You, especially by hurting others physically, emotionally, spiritually, or in any other way, in thought, word, or action.

Jesus, by Your blood, wash us clean and uproot any ungodly attachments in our lives because they lead us away from You.

As we close out 2021, I am still marveling at the celebration of Christmas. God the extraordinary creator came to dwell amongst our ordinary selves; our lives are forever transformed. Because He partook of humans, who are all related by DNA, He has made us a part of Him. His blood flows in us all, we are His children. Not only His children, but also heirs to His kingdom. WOW. What God has ever become a poor baby in order to redeem His creatures? His simplistic humility traces for us the path we each must take in imitating Him. We have free will to decide, so let's choose the better part. Let's welcome Jesus the newborn king and enthrone Him as king of our hearts, homes, and world. Merry Christmas 😊❤

We always keep in prayer our brothers and sisters who are experiencing tough moments, those who are persecuted because of Jesus, and those who are experiencing things unspeakable or unseen. Jesus visit us all, fill us with hope, give us the courage to endure things that we cannot change, and fulfill Your will in us 🙏🏽 Amen Hallelujah 🙌🏽

Today in the United States, we celebrate Thanksgiving. At church earlier today, I was reminded of the reason behind the celebration. The history behind this holiday involves many things that some of us experience today such as persecution, politics, immigration, poverty, hard work, trust in God's faithfulness, seasons (weather), harvesting. All to point to the fact that despite hardships, we ought to always give thanks. It's sooooo easy to be thankful when things are are all good. But we all have diverse trials; through it all, we must have an attitude of gratitude. Even if we grumble, let us quickly remember to give thanks and testify to God's eternal goodness.

No matter what has gone on or what I am facing, I have tremendous value in my creator and maker alone. He made me out of love, to love, and He still loves me despite my flaws and insecurities. I have nothing to prove to noone, only that I please my God in all things. Because of that, there no sense in comparison or competition, or demonstration. No use in showing out, or taking revenge.
