Nursing school is hard! ( and that’s with a capital D, hard!)
It will challenge you mentally, emotionally, physically, and sometimes spiritually.

And as of late, I’m very intentional about who has access to me.

If the people in your life are making an already difficult season even harder instead of supporting you through it, you may need to start cutting some strings ✂️🧵

And that goes for anyone.

I just told a friend the other day that I’ll probably be an absent friend over these next 4 semesters {meaning}, you probably won’t hear from me first. You will have to check on me.
And to know me, you have to know that I am that friend that always checks in on her friends.
I’m always present. But in this season, I’m going to need you to be present for me, as I have been for you. I’m going to need you to check in on me, as I have always checked in on you.
But again, if you know me, then you know that no matter what, I’m never that far away, and I’ll do my best to show up for you, no matter what season I’m in.

And a huge shout out to the tribe of friends that I am building/have built since being in Augusta. You guys have shown up for me, helped me, given me resources, and sent me random texts of encouragement throughout the day. Thanks for the phone calls, the check-ins, and especially the prayers. I truly need them.

Nursing school is hard enough. I refuse to carry unnecessary weight while I’m already carrying this much.

Some seasons require support.
Some require sacrifice.
And some require separation.

And I have yet to thank you all for supporting our back-to-school community initiative! A proper thank you is coming, I promise! 🤞🏾

One of my favorite ways to give back to our community is returning this school year! 💚

Kale + Peppermint Beauty, in partnership with ASAP Performance Foundation, Inc. is honored to once again offer Complimentary Back-to-School Facials for boys and girls in elementary, middle, and high school.

🍃 Girls will receive a complimentary skin analysis along with their facial, as well as a hygiene kit filled with everyday essentials to help build confidence as they prepare for the new school year.

🧼 Boys will also receive a complimentary skin analysis along with their facial, plus a hygiene kit with personal care essentials to encourage healthy hygiene habits.

Our mission goes beyond skincare. Through our Fresh Face. Fresh Start. Community Initiative, we’re committed to giving back by investing in the nurturing, confidence, and well-being of the next generation.

Every student deserves to begin the school year feeling clean, confident, cared for, and encouraged.

Even if your child doesn’t receive a facial, we still invite you to stop by and pick up a complimentary hygiene kit while supplies last. Our hope is simply to be a blessing to as many families as possible this school year. 💚
