As some of you may know, we have had some weather-related delays. Unfortunately, we have also been experiencing some delays due to our various suppliers.

Our tallow supplier, who was chosen for quality and who has an excellent track record, has had a couple bad batches recently, which has impacted our ability to fill orders in a timely manner. We are confident it won’t be an issue long-term, but in the short term, we don’t have enough good tallow on hand to fulfill orders.

As a result, we are going to have to shut down our shop for a little while until we can get the situation sorted out.

Brrrrrr! ❄️ I have not enjoyed this bitter cold weather, but my kiddos thoroughly enjoyed the snow we got this weekend!

We definitely had to up our tallow game with all the chapped cheeks and redness this snow brought.

Happy June! I think this might be my favorite month. My husband and I celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary this weekend 🫶🏼 and June is officially the kickoff to summertime! ☀️

With summer come many adventures outside in the sun, and while the sun has numerous healing properties that should be embraced daily . . . when it comes to your tallow, it’s best to keep your jars out of direct sunlight and away from heat.

For example, if you leave your jar in your car, don’t worry, it’s not ruined! Your tallow may melt into a liquid, but take it to a cool room and it will solidify again. The whipped texture we create for you will be gone, but it’s still a perfectly usable balm for your body.
